Absolutely shocking customer service!
I placed a very large order beginning of July, over £140, I received a message to say partial order sent and delivery took way over the 3-5 day delivery time. Now over 2 1/2 months later I’m still chasing up my refund for the items that weren’t sent. I’ve sent email after email, they don’t even send a reply for days/week, I did get sent a reply back one time, saying the stuff is on its way, well still no stuff and still no refund! I’ve spent hundreds of pounds over the years, but they’ve lost me as a customer now!

I see that there are a lot of negative reviews about Clarie's and I don't want to take away from anyone else's experience, so I'd say weigh all of the comments as you make your decision. For me and my family; however, we've always had great experiences with Claire's. I've taken the girls in the family to the store in the mall for years and always found things they love at great prices and we always received good customer service. Due to the pandemic, I recently ordered some stuff online and it came within a matter of days without any problems at all and the order was correct. I didn't have to contact customer service, so I don't know what that would be like, but our shopping experiences both in the store and online have been perfect so far.

SO it was my daughters birthday and i bought her a ring from here beacsue i wanted to spoil her and the heart from the ring chipped off. Terrible customer service. The ring was pretty but it was so embarassing when the heart chipped off in front of her friends.

I purchased an order online it was gift. The whole ordeal was horrible. Customer service was rude even in the messages that were sent. I will not recommend this place to anyone and the people that I know do shop here, I will let them know what I’ve experience, and I still have not received my refund!! If I wasn’t a Christian this review would be on a whole different level!!!

I’ve never ever written a review but I’m beyond pissed. I ordered online almost A MONTH ago. Was told I would get a call or email when my orders ready. Waited a week. Called twice a week for another 2 weeks. Girls on the phone were very rude and blunt. Said they didn’t have any orders at all and to wait for a call. So almost a week later , a girl calls to tell me that my order has been waiting at the store for WEEKS. I went the next day to get it, was told my package was marked as “abandoned” and they refunded me. I have yet to get any money back or any items. I’ve called the store twice now and the manager has said that”none of her employees got calls from me” and that a refund was being processed. She didn’t ask for my name, order number or nothing. So how did she know my particular order was being refunded? She told me to call 1800 Claire’s. So I did, and they told me that the store HASNT issued me a refund. So she lied. And made me out to be a liar saying I never called asking about my order which I did about 4 times!!!! They have only teenage brats working here. They don’t know how to be profession in the least. I’m so mad. I was told I would get an email about my refund and again, nothing!! Just stealing from me! I’m beyond mad!

Amended my review in light of the customer service I received via twitter this morning. I've been refunded for the whole order. Most items were missing but all were refunded as a gesture of goodwill.
The parcel had been delivered via Hermes. I've had a number of damaged goods delivered via them. I just wish companies would use a different courier or that Hermes could get their act together.
Claires could have packaged my items more appropriately so that the package would have been less likely to be damaged like it was. It was delayed somewhat which made me think at the time that it may have been damaged and sure enough it was.
In future I will visit a Claires shop to make purchases rather than online.
Also, to those emailing and phoning with no response, try to DM via twitter to their help page.
My rating was 0 before but in light of the fact that they have put this right, I've upgraded the rating. I wasn't asked to review my comment but thought it fair to do so.

I will never go back they are a joke nothing but young teenage girls who are stuck up they can’t do they job and they suck At helping you plus they are rude as can be they want you to wear a mask but they was only making some people wear a mask not all they are a joke and they over charged us

Personally I'd rather there be zero Stars for Claire's. I'm disputing for a refund from PayPal and if that doesn't work I'm going to my bank to dispute the transaction to get my money back and I will because I'm bullheaded and it's my freaking money that I worked hard for. Anybody that's reading this review do not I repeat do not give your money away to this company because they will only rob you! Do not ever ever buy anything online from Claire's they are thieves!

Customer service is nothing but GARBAGE. My package had been paid for and it mentioned that it would arrive in 5-7 business days. It arrived over 2 WEEKS later. Rude customer service and when I called, they couldn’t even find my order. They told me before when I called that it would arrive in a couple days, and it arrived the next week. Claires- absolute trash. Fix your website, your organization skills, and get it together.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. Placed order online, they took the payment but no goods received, no response to email, and they don't answer the phone, put
me hold for 20 minutes plus then they cut me off multiple times. Save yourself do not do it!!! Most abysmal customer service ever! Now will have to fight to try and get a refund. Not to mention most importantly a most disappointed little girl.

Terrible Company do NOT BUY from them I hope to close their website down. Just Awful.

If I could give no stars I would. Click and collect - what a nightmare!! Don’t do it!!! No correspondence, no nothing!

Terrible Shop, I payed £5.50 for next day delivery and 3 days later it still hasn't arrived.

Lost my order, told me it was my fault & they didn’t have it, then refused to refund me until I got nasty (and then got mad for my language.) NOT worth the squishmallows!!!

I recently went to Claire’s to get my ears pierced and it was a great experience. The staff were super friendly and the establishment was very clean. All of my questions were answered and I would 100% go back again

Like others I ordered online without checking reviews here unfortunately.
Their website still insists its 4-7 working days delivery to where I live but its been 15 working days and over a month since my order and nothing has arrived.
You won't be able to get a response from them via email for at least several days. Terrible customer service too

They also said some items were out of stock but I haven't received any refund for these. Never ordering or going into a Claires store again

I have visited the one in San Francisco premium outlets, and I got the worst experience with Claire’s. Staff was s not friendly at all and in fact they were very rude.

They are very hesitant to take returns.

very slow despatch and still not received my items. you would think a large international company would of nailed down the logistics. if covid is to blame then why haven't they employed bank staff? there also seems to be some sort of bug where you can't check the status of delivery it just flips to a different screen when you are about to put in order number hmmmm!!!
