Dishonest practices in every way imaginable.
They charge for half tank 49€ when the fuel deposit cost the same.
Security deposit was 1400€, not the information existing when the reservation.
They charge taxes and more taxes, the car costs 80€ and you pay 200€ in total.
License should be revoked.

Please believe the other bad reviews on this site, those who had a good experience with this company must’ve just been lucky. On arrival I was slightly over the hours grace they give you due to flight changes and because of that they charged me another hundred pounds on top of the original fee and gave me a car that wasn’t as good as the category I had originally booked. I find the way they did Business was fundamentally dishonest as you start with a low fee to book originallyand then pay for it afterwards.

This is scammer and bullshit company, very disappointed with there policy and terms... Rude unprofessional and a lot of hidden fees

The worst car rental experience ever. A rude employee carged us 2,5 times higher price than we had in our rental agreement with carjet. Both cars were old and damaged, and the estate had so worn tyres, it would have been dangerous in wet weather. THis is nothing but a scam company. Stear away!

I would give zero stars if I could. This is the worst switch and bait experience I have ever had. When I booked the car, I was told there would be a late arrivals fee (I booked from Malta airport). When I got there I was told that due to the fact I was paying with a debit card they would have to charge me an extra €30 per day for comprehensive insurance, even though their terms say: “ Our rates include Comprehensive insurance, Third party insurance, local tax (vat), unlimited mileage, 24hr road assistance and breakdown service*, road licensing fees, vehicle maintenance.” That basically added €150 to my rental fee. Then they added a €25 “location fee” which is basically a surcharge for picking up at the airport. This is something that should have been declared in the initial booking, since it was clear that’s where I was picking up! But no, it’s in the fine print of the terms. To top it off, they pre-charge fuel at an exorbitant price (€68 for an half tank of diesel) and you don’t get any money back if you return the vehicle with fuel left. And then: the vehicle was so disgustingly dirty and old, I kept getting tyre pressure warning and it felt unsafe to drive. Altogether a horrible experience. I could have gone with a reputable brand rental agency and paid less this with better car quality and service.

Dishonest practices in every way imaginable. Fuel policy is a scam: Car provided with half tank, which is charged upon pickup at fantasy fuel prices. When car is returned, no refund on remaining fuel.
Security deposit was increased to 2500 EUR, even though written contract stated 1800. Staff extremely rude and not helpful. Literally told me "it's your problem, not mine". Reported to Malta tourism authority and airport. License should be revoked.

We had the worst experience possible with a car hire for CityGo that had been booked via CarJet!
I would never recommend using CityGo!!
Our car hire was cancelled without our consent, and because it was done so by the customer service representative after the pick up time (we were NOT late) we were refused any refund!
It appears to be a scam that they are using!!! We certainly weren’t the only ones to have left that office upset that day!
They place extra fees and charges onto your hire and when you question them they cancel the booking and refuse to discuss the issues.
It was absolutely the worse start to our holiday in Malta

If I could give zero stars I would. Charged an airport surcharge, for a booking make for the airport. It was never stated during booking or on the voucher. Charged 50 euros for half a tank of fuel when the car costs less than that to fill a full tank.
Charged an out of hours fee for returning the car within office hours again never stated anywhere on booking.

Scam! They charged me whay moore than expected price! They charge double for full tank of fuel, and for insurance even though we already paid for I when we did the booking online. Can not rekommend!

The booking process was straightforward, the car was ready on time, and the entire rental period went without a hitch. Their team demonstrated great attention to detail and a clear commitment to customer satisfaction. A very reliable rental service that I will be using again.

We had a great experience here after struggling to hire a car with several other companies (due to not having a credit card). Laura and the crew were really accommodating and understanding. We are just really thankful the team were able to help us out.

I was really scared by such bad reviews. However, my rental (without insurance) went very well. Maybe a little slow when I picked up the car (they were only 2 employees for 10 customers). The rest was fine. Inspection, refund of deposit and quality of the car.

This company is completely scam, I rented it through jetcar service and I bought insurance from them, but when I arrived they charged from me extra insurance 25 euro per day + they charged 45 euro for half tank of petrol, when it costs only 20 euro for the same amount on every gas station. Also they declined cancel out of working time fees because it was added by mistake and I told them about this.
So the full price grew from 160 to 450+ euro. Avoid this company.

Special thanks to Naresh for setting up the vehicle and for brilliant tourist recommendations. Great range of new vehicles. We hired the vehicle from the down town city centre location, and returned it to the airport that is located inside the short stay car park. The return process was phenomenally quick and straightforward unlike other providers.
