Misogyny and ineffective practitioner

I made an initial appointment with this company/ practitioner after a recommendation by the husband of an ex-colleague. I have had osteoarthritis for many years and currently have sciatic pain. I found the two hour session on March 9th very unsatisfactory. On the plus side, I was observed on a treadmill and given feedback on my many dysfunctional skeletal defects. However, the practitioner seemed very fond of the sound of his own voice and I was subject to long lectures about hypermobility, pain thresholds, all the things wrong with me, the vagus nerve, the many possible historical causes of my problems, the 9 month program needed to “ fix” me and more. When I asked if there would be any treatment I was given an “ amatsu” treatment to supposedly help with release and relief from sciatica. This was extremely painful and once the numbing gel wore off as I walked down the road I realised my pain was exactly the same. He called me “dear” and darling” twice and failed to notice my widowed status on my form, talking about my husband a few times. Because I challenged these practices he called me “ feisty” in the written follow- up email. Appalling sexism and disrespect. I was charged almost £150 for this experience.
