Terrible experience. The staff were shockingly rude and completely unwelcoming. They aggressively enforce bizarre rules about how fast you must eat and even try to dictate what you can order. The whole thing felt more like a military drill than a meal. If you're looking for a relaxed or enjoyable dining experience, avoid this place at all costs.

I went to the Churchill Arms pub today , I expected to see a traditional English pub ,
I liked the inside vintage style decoration with lots of frames of Churchill , first of all the pub smells stinky the toilets are horrible & smelly , you can feel the smells of stinks 😷 around all over the pub , I expected to eat English food since I am a tourist in the UK , I was shocked that’s only Thai food they serve , I ordered plate of Prawns noddle it was very pricey and prawns 🍤 wasn’t cocked , and very expensive, so do not expect to have Traditional English food such as pies or even fish and chips , pint price around £7 , no music or even TV in the pub . I am still in shock .please wash the pub carpet via proper carpet company , they employ 1 cleaner to clean the toilet every hour and put some fresh air freshener in the toilets , clean the stinky pub please .

We have been a few times for the pub side of The Churchill Arms but this visit was our first Thai Restaurant visit. The Pub is just fanatic, quirky, British, fun, a good selection of Ales. Service quick and pleasant, as it has been on previous visits. 5 stars for the pub side... we love it....

The Thai Restaurant part I knew of its reputation and its didn't disappoint. Running late with our table, and at the end of our meal being chased off it sharpish. Food is very good, and there is a good selection to choose from, maybe a little research beforehand as the staff are not too helpful with explaining about certain dishes as one of our guests found out. The wine took a while, and we should have grabbed a bottle from the pub side beforehand, as we had got well into our starters before it came. It's a 3 star, but I would eat there again as it is an experience and with the right group of friends can be very amusing as we found it.

The Thai staff there are sharp, not rude but they will do their thing - their way.... maybe that's why people return to the scene of the crime.... we would, and it's NON-halal according to James who works there, so a plus for us.
