One Star Is Too Many

I purchased a vehicle from Chris Crain Hyundai of Conway in May 2025 and was told it came with a warranty. In November, the vehicle overheated and the engine failed. When I contacted the dealership, instead of helping, staff immediately implied that I was being dishonest and repeatedly told me I needed to “tell the truth.”

I was told multiple times that the issue would be diagnosed using a computer system that would report directly to the warranty company. Only after the warranty claim was denied—based on an allegation that I continued driving excessively after the vehicle overheated (which is not true)—was I informed that there is no third-party warranty company at all. I was told by Chris Crain Hyundai staff, including Larry Harris (Service Manager) and the General Manager, that the dealership itself was the “warranty.”

They then informed me they would not cover the engine replacement and that I would need to pay approximately $10,000 out of pocket. Throughout this entire process, I received no updates unless I initiated contact. The staff repeatedly accused me of not being truthful, changed their explanations multiple times, and misled me into believing I had a warranty that did not actually exist as described.

I have requested documentation regarding the warranty and have not received anything. Based on this experience, I do not recommend Chris Crain Hyundai of Conway.
