Chipper Cash used to be a go-to fintech app. Probably around 2-3 years ago. But now, they suck as hell!

They are not providing a solution. They are simply providing a system to steal from you. I’ve been using them for over 3 years now, but right now? I’m so done. I’m uninstalling this app but before then I thought to leave a review so others will not fall into this trap. The 1 star rating is for the seamless deposit. Depositing money is super fast. But once your money is in there? You’re doomed.

You are met with endless fees like
❌Card activation fee (USD/NGN)
❌Card Maintenance Fees
❌ Card Payment Decline fees
❌ Conversion Fees (their dollar to naira exchange rate is ridiculously high) while others are exchange at $1=N1387 for instance, Chipper is likely exchanging at $1=N1470. But when you need to convert the same dollar seconds later, you’re converting at maybe N1350. That’s stealing to me!!!
❌ Withdrawal Charges (plus unnecessary delays, unexplained time outs) gosh! I can’t even tell it all.

They make me sick. Initially, I thought maybe it’s because they’re trying to stabilize operations due to the economic situations but no! This one? Is too much.

I will not recommend chipper to anyone I love. Thankfully, we’ve got better alternatives now.

Lol chipper are scammers they debit u for no reason then when u message them about it they'll refus to respond to ur message and leave u unattended to

These people don’t inform you that there network is down or even lie the moment you deposit more than 100$ then suddenly they get issues with the network I deposited money with there crypto currency but it’s now 2days and money is not even reflected on the account yet it was already confirm so any Ugandan here be cautious with this app they are scammers

Sincerely the worst, my dollar card was deactivated, 7 dollars was supposed to be withdrawn back to my dollar wallet but I couldn’t find it, then I went ahead to create another another one for 5 dollars, after which I funded with 15dollars yesterday and today it has vanished again, I think these guys are just scammers, sent messages no customer service, phone number etc.. Chipper such a shame, I think it is time to look for a better alternative after 4 years

I think they should be arrested. They are the biggest failed fintech app scamming bastards on the internet and in Nigeria. They are purely thieves. A bunch of stupid females and some senseless males who want to be entrepreneurs but lack the technical know-how to make it work effectively and lack the funding the hire the skill and adequate human resources they'll need to run a successful fintech startup. These people are using plugins to do transactions. They're playing at the office and using our funds to test their app if it's working fine. They're mad people on the loose and they're in possession of people's funds including mine. It's been over 14 hours since I transferred my funds from them to my opay and they're still working on it. The petty thieves want to talk with their finance transfer partner. I've done business with mad people 😭 I've given my money to mad men and women in the same WhatsApp group. Failed fintech startdown!!

Absolutely terrible experience.
Chipper Cash is lightning fast when it comes to deposits, they’ll take your money instantly with zero issues. But the moment you try to withdraw or cash out? Suddenly there are “delays,” “reviews,” and endless excuses. My money gets held for no clear reason, no real timeline, and support is painfully slow and unhelpful. It feels one-sided: fast in, stuck forever coming out. If you value access to your own money, think twice before using this app. Completely unreliable when it actually matters.

Just a bunch of scammers. They give out cards that never work and they never reply via support. Too frustrating. They keep taking your money without even your permission. Who is there regulator in Uganda?? Please stay away from this this kiapp.

This platform is terrible. They consistently break their own records for making the most anti-consumer decisions and changes. The customer service is also terrible.

Theives, avoid them, I wonder why I have not found other competitors till now, I pay 5$ to get a virtual card, they charge me monthly for holding a virtual card, if there is no cash in it, they delete the card, and I have to pay another 5$ for a card I had already paid for.

If you're new to this application I will advice you to stop using it...they are thieves

Chipper cash have been holding my pending payment since September 24 2025 till now , with the reviews chipper are legalize scam, I chat there customer service in app they don't say any reason why it took long, no one answer my question on the ticket that was open when I submitted supporting document .

This investment platform is absolutely fake and not sincere. I value things being simple and straightforward St' am Plife' have stay true to their words and payouts are paid out promptly.

This guy's are criminals, I sent money to an app and they rejected it and reversed the money back since the past 5 days till now I haven't seen my money... I have messaged this guy's everywhere but what they keep saying is we are working on it.. sometimes they won't reply. If you want a dollar card or dollar account calmly go and make use of Grey cause they are the best.

If there is anything less than one star rating I think that is what befit chipper cast.

They are legalized criminals and SCAMMERS.
It's a platform that systematically and strategically improvish someone.
I wonder why regulators would allow such cheat to be in the public space.

Considering what ive seen here and my personal experience with them, I'm conviced Chipper Cash is an actual scam, they claim to sell crypto which they actually dont own, they claim they sale stock shares which they dont own, all they try to do is extort as much fees as possible. I'm going to connect with some legal teams in my locale and we launch an investigation into this entity

Chipper cash is a legalised thief. Very useless people. They scammed me all in the name of stupid and useless charges fee. The best to do with chipper cash is to report them to the authority or take them to court.

This is probably the worst legal scammers you can ever use. The hidden fees. Excessive charges. Once your money is in, you are already in debt to them. Maintainance fee, card fee, transaction decline fee, withdrawal fee, transaction fee, card maintainance fee, i wonder if the list ever stops. I wish i could provide screenshots, these people killed me. Please somebody help me with an alternative, going back is like jumping into a 500°F frying pan.
