Zero rating! Mitchell Patchett took my money for a multi fuel stove and did not deliver it. Do NOT use this person. An absolutely unprofessional, useless and non communicative individual. Judging by previous reviews he’s also unsafe. Not to be trusted

Booked Mitchell patchett for a chimney sweep and he asked for money up front this year ,trusted as been many times before but did not show and is not answering calls or messages 😔

Mitchell Patchett (of Newark) was contracted to fit a wood-burning stove. He requested payment (£500) up front (he had done work for us before), and we paid. He delivered the stove (paid separately) and partly fitted the stove. He then told us that the chimney needed to be made safe. There .are holes in the cement between stove and chimney.
Despite promising to do the work, he has failed to do so. He has also not given us the legally- required TESLA certificate.

We bought a Chimney Sweep draught excluder for our open fire chimney which we don't use very much. I hadn't realised how much heat we were losing due to the cold blasts of air coming into the room from our chimney. It's made of wool so we still get ventilation, just not cold air. It was easy to measure for, easy to order, arrived two days later and was easy to fit. On the odd occasion we want to use the fire, just pull on the dangling handle and out it pops, next day pop it back in again. Great idea, great product, great price.
