Passed first time with 1 minor thanks to Jack and the team at Chilled Driving. Lessons were always booked in advance and no problem to reschedule even at short notice. Jack was a very calming and attentive tutor who really helped me get to grips with some of the more challenging aspects of driving. Overall, would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to learn to drive!

We start our journey with James at the Chilled driving 1hr course at RAF Coltishall , where my son James was accessed and we booked an intense driving course , would really recommend as gets your child used to a car off road
Then when James turned 17 he was took out with James , he really enjoyed driving the 5hrs each day , and the confidence James gave him with his teaching
Will certainly be using again when my daughter gets old enough

Both our children progressed through the Chilled Driving learning experience. We embraced the learning and teaching style and both went through the Junior learning opportunities and then on to an intensive driving course. Both times we have had Simon, he has been simply, excellent. Teaches, challenges and has created a connection with our two that made them feel safe. With our youngest passing yesterday around the new rules on obtaining a test, we luckily obtained a test two days after the intense course of learning on a Saturday! Other one was three months away!. He and his colleague worked together, changed their diary and made it happen. Two passes with a couple of minors between them. Start to finish the communication is professional and caring. Highly recommend. Thank you. Two passes.

As soon as you make a call, or send them an email to get yourself signed up, the Chilled Team are tailoring a course to suit your driving experience.

When you've booked your hours and meet your instructor you get to sit behind the steering wheel of an Audi or Ford (Depending on your booking)

Though I had prior driving experience with Chilled a few years back, I needed to relearn the basics with Simon as it had been some time since I drove. You'll be assessed usually for your first hour of driving and are constantly assessed and taught as you go.

Bookings for 2026 can be quite rough as Chilled is incredibly popular to learn with, so instructors can change.

For the rest and majority of my hours I was taught by Will and Martin, who both have many years of driving pretty much anything that has two or more wheels.

Will and Martyn are incredible tutors who will get you in the right mindset for learner driving with their humour, patience and knowledge.

The Mock Test by one of the senior instructors can seem quite harsh, but it is there to see if you can drive to the standard they are teaching you. It was incredibly insightful. You may get more hours suggested, take them! Iron out those habits!

Try and get yourself a lesson in before the day of your test to just get the last bits of preparation in!

If you book the use of the instructor's car on the day of the test, you get roughly 40 minutes as a warm up as you drive to the test centre, depending on road conditions.

Brilliant! My instructor, Marco, was fantastic and the mock test with Shaun was so useful. With their help I passed first time. Would definitely recommend!

Sam was so patient and understanding, he help me build up my confidence so much that I was able to pass my test 1st time.

Great experience for my 17 year old son with Gary from Chilled. Easy to book and arrange lessons, instructor very flexible including trips to Lowestoft where we had to go to get a test. Son says Gary very calm and great teacher. Passed first time ! We are so pleased that he has had this foundational instruction which will serve him for the next few decades ! After having had an intensive week long course with Will M and then another few days after completing a mock test with the in-house examiner, I managed to pass my test first time with only 2 minors!
Will and the team at chilled are an incredibly lovely bunch who genuinely care about your development behind the wheel.
