First and last time with this company

First and last time with this company. Absolutely unacceptable experience. I placed an order with Cheryl’s Cookies specifically because they guaranteed delivery by Mother’s Day. Not only did the package fail to arrive on time, but it still hasn’t shown up—and I’ve received no update, no apology, nothing.

The entire point of ordering from a company like this is to make a thoughtful gesture for a special occasion. Cheryl’s completely missed the mark and ruined that opportunity. If you can’t be trusted to deliver on the one thing you promise—timely delivery for a holiday—why should anyone ever order from you again?

I will not be ordering again, and I strongly suggest others look elsewhere unless you’re okay with broken promises and disappointed loved ones.

0 stars. Worse company ever. Mother’s Day cookies never arrived. Worst customer service. They don’t even post their phone number on the website. You have to google it. How they are still in business I have no idea. Over seas call center with no remorse. Oh and the chat. It’s like a 2 year old chatting with you. Stay away. Stay far away.

Customer Service/Order Execution is Lacking

Let me start off by saying that I am a Passport member thus receive free shipping from their group of companies that include Cheryl's Cookies. On 3-5-2025 I ordered ST. PATTY'S DAY COOKIE/PRETZEL - 20 CT to be delivered 03/13/2025 - 03/14/2025. These were for St Patrick's Day which is also my brother's birthday. The order never arrived, so I did contacted customer disservice who had little concern over my order being late and said it would arrive on 3-20-2025. These were for my brother who was visiting my mom (where the package was sent) and he was leaving the morning of 3-20-2025. I was told I couldn't cancel the order. However, when I contacted them again and was persistent they cancelled the order and gave me a refund, which was no consolation since by this time the gift didn't get to him. Will definitely think twice before ordering from Cheryl's or any other Passport companies!!! Rather pay more and order from someone who takes pride in customer service!

BAD customer service

Great cookies, probably the best Ive ever had. If you run into a problem and it happens,(this was my 3rd time actually) you are sent to a call center in the Philippines. Let me tell you they get angry when you ask to speak to a customer service representative in the US.They also say they cant transfer your call to a US rep and give you to another representative that still have EXTREMELY poor English. Overall, the cookies are great but the support/pride feeling thinking this a "made in the US" purchase is gone when you have to call customer service.

I mistakenly placed an order from the UK to a friend in the US and realized my error within 20 minutes. I immediately contacted the company to cancel, but they claimed they couldn't do so because the order was already being prepared for delivery (seriously?). The only solution they offered was to cancel the delivery and provide a 20% discount on a future order. Unbelievable. They showed no real effort to help and seemed more interested in keeping my money. If I had checked the reviews beforehand, I never would have ordered from this company. Having seen the reviews, I am even more concerned and wonder if the order will arrive or taste good.

Cheryl’s cookies did not deliver my order in time - even after paying for premium delivery. Customer service was horrible. No one could help - the items were never delivered and the company would not offer a refund. I will NEVER order from Cheryl’s cookies and recommend no one ever order from the company! Absolutely the worst!

NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

I ordered a New Year’s gift of ice cream sundaes and cookies for my friend and her son. When it did not arrive, I contacted them and was told that they notified me earlier that it would be delayed. Of course, they hadn’t and my friend was about to travel. After much difficult discussion, they agreed to reschedule my delivery until February. On that day I checked to see if the delivery was on schedule, and it was still in another state. So I just asked for a refund and was told that was not possible. After staying on chat for 1-1/2 hours waiting for a supervisor, I was disconnected and told someone would call me. Still waiting… Just terrible company!!

The worst customer service. No common sense.

My business received Cheryl's cookies as a Xmas present from one of our clients. Upon opening the can, we found the individually-wrapped cookies had MOLD growing on the cookies.

I went on the Cheryl's Cookie site and, finding it difficult to find a customer service rep, I used their chat system. After explaining the situation, I was advised to call a Customer Service phone number. I called the number. After much time on hold, a barely English-speaking rep told me I called the wrong number and gave me a number to call, which was exactly the same 800 number I just called. I called again. And another non-English-speaking person basically told me that without the shipping info, or invoice, they could not replace the cookies. I asked for a supervisor. After much delay, someone picked up and told me I needed the documentation to get a replacement. I explained that I received them as a present and had no info. They said contact the person who gave the gift.

I told them I did not want to embarrass the giftgiver and could not provide the information. They said sorry.

I referred them to their 100% satisfaction guarantee. But obviously, that means nothing.

Then I looked for an email address. I found one for the press. The response once again came from customer service with the same story. "Give us the shipping info." Once again I told them I wasn't going to embarrass my client. Made me feel like I was withholding a source in a major security issue.

Now, we're talking about a $30 can of cookies, which maybe costs them $10. For a lousy $10 they could have shipped a new can of cookies, but NOOOOOOO!

Bottom line, we didn't even like the cookies. They are dried out and stick in your throat. (We were given two cans of cookies.) The cans are nicely decorated if you just want a nice holiday display.

Delivery date not honored and HORRIBLE customer service

Placed an order with two items with specific delivery dates between Dec 31 and Jan 2 (they have you pick dates or date ranges). I picked the specific items because on the order page they both said, "Available to Ship Now." One item arrived the next day, no problem. The other item has not shipped and today is the final delivery date...so if not shipped yet won't get it by the agreed date. Called customer service who wasted 30 min of my time. Could barely understand him, he didn't comprehend my question, kept reading from a script about my Passport account which had nothing to do with this. There are better desserts out there and I will not be ordering from Cheryl's Cookies again. Bad enough they don't honor the delivery dates (which are not cited as estimated dates and they have you pick the dates), but the customer service is so horrible that you can't even talk to someone that comprehends the issue or does anything to help. Horrible customer service, and that makes or breaks who I deal with.

Our family was gifted a large box of…

Our family was gifted a large box of assorted cookies for Christmas. The main reason for said gift was a comfort gift for my dying brother, yet he couldn't stand the horribly sweet frosted cookies. Said frosted cookies made up about 60% of the box, yet customer service had no solution, or even cared about the spirit of the gift.

Personally, these are really overated sugar bombs. And I cannot for the life of me figure out how the cookies have been touted as great! There is no wonder most Americans have diabetes, pre-diabetes, or insulin resistant if this is what we call great cookies!

Wrong order, refused a refund

I ordered a set of cookies and pretzels, the delivery was guaranteed on the website for Christmas delivery. The order arrived on the 26th and was not correct, it was only cookies, no pretzels. I contacted customer service and they agreed to send me the correct order. The second delivery was the same as the first, no pretzels. I contacted customer service and they said that the item that I ordered was out of stock but refused to give me a full refund. It is not good business to sell something that you do not have, it is borderline bait and switch and possibly fraud. I have cancelled my passport membership that I carried for 7 years and will no longer use this company for gifting.

What A Disappointment

Placed an order for Cheryl’s cookies on 12/25/24 around 11:30pm and asked to edit my order the next morning at 9:48am, 12/26/24 via chat/text. The associate I spoke with (Kristine) said that was not possible anymore since the order has been confirmed. I asked what confirmed meant and I was told “it means that your order was already confirmed, and ready to go to transit”. So, I then asked the associate if my order had been shipped yet. That associate said no. I then asked the associate about the information that was sent in the bill that was emailed to me after my order was placed. I even sent a snapshot of it in the chat/ text. That information reads “Please note: if your order has already been shipped or delivered, we cannot make any changes or cancellations”.

But my order hadn’t been shipped yet, or at least that is what I was told by Kristine the associate .

After many endless texts about technicalities, it seemed like that chat kept going in circles. I was even sent that text companies send when they think they haven’t heard from you in awhile and want to close out the chat. But it was weird because I was still actively chatting with Kristine. So I asked for a supervisor. I was then asked for my number and eventually gave it after asking why I couldn’t text with the supervisor here in the chat. I was answered many times with “give me your number and a supervisor will call you now”. I kept being told that I was getting a call now, but I would wait and nothing would happen. Eventually after this happened a few times I did receive a call from a supervisor that basically told me the same things that the associate had stated. But when asked about the misinformation that was sent via email on my bill and why I was told that my order hadn’t been shipped. All I received were apologies and that the associate was wrong. Still didn’t get to edit the order, but did hear a lot of excuses.

I’m sure the cookies are great. But the customer service needs work. Hopefully this helps others and/or is a cheat sheet when going through customer service at Cheryl’s Cookies.

P.S. I tried asking for help navigating the reviews and was texted back with like 3 different responses from Kristine. (Like, “Are you still with me?, Looks like you stepped away. I am going to disconnect., I haven’t heard from you are you still there?”) But no answer to my question.

We ordered 5 sets of cookies on Dec 17

We subscribe yearly on auto pay for the deliveries we order. We ordered 5 sets of cookies on Dec. 17 from Cheryl's Cookies to be sent to 5 separate families. Orders were scheduled to arrive 20th - 22nd. No further communications from company. On Dec. 24 I contacted the website through their "live chat". Very rude and no information given. Only questioning me and 4 separate disconnects from the chat. On the 5th try and a very rude chat conversation I requested to speak to a supervisor and was given a 1800 # for another customer service (Flowers) and disconnected. Called the number and of course just another customer service person. to summarize the rest of the story - info was that FedEx had the products at the hub only 40 minutes from the addresses and would be delivered "tomorrow". Nothing but lies!!! It is now 2:15 pm Dec. 25 - still no deliveries!! I am cancelling my shipping subscription (auto pay yearly) - totally useless.

Poor Customer Service

RE: A small order that was placed and needed to be cancelled about 2 hrs later.

The Customer Service refused to cancel even though it had not been shipped. According to their policy - "Please note: if your order has already been shipped or delivered, we unfortunately cannot make any changes or cancellation." I should have been able to cancel and receive a credit since I contacted them in a very short time after placing the order. I would not recommend businesses like this.

I placed a very large business order…

I placed a very large business order for 30 boxes sent to various offices on 12/16 to be delivered by 12/20. In checking 2 days later, 11 of the 30 boxes still did not have tracking numbers on them. I also never received an email of my order summary as is customary after placing online orders. I used the chat feature and worked with a very rude agent who dismissed my issue. She would not give me an email to contact a supervisor. She did give me an 800 number to try to track the remaining orders. In speaking with that agent, she said the orders were not ready to send yet (apparently delayed) and could not help. I will never use any business in this group ever again. There is zero professionalism and hopefully I can save someone else from this type of situation by sharing my experience. Now it seems that 11 of the 30 boxes will arrive late. Disappointing.

What a horrible experience

What a horrible experience. Ordered cookies on line and the order was never acknowledged on line so we ordered again. Still not searchable online. Called customer service. They could not find order either. We then ordered from another company. Guess what all 3 orders are sent. Now trying to get a refund and customer service is impossible. Never again!

Beware And Avoid!

I ordered two boxes of cookies at the same time under the same order number. With the recipient's addresses being about three miles apart, one arrived, the other didn't. I contacted Customer Service and was told my package was lost in transit and just let them know and they'll reship the item. So, I replied to their email, thank you, please reship. then a different person responded and this began an epic back-and-forth run-around between myself and four different C.S. Agents. With the last email offering me a 15% savings pass for my $75.00 order that was sent to the staff at my Medical Clinic. The issue still hasn't been resolved ... Beware! And avoid Cheryl's Cookies!
