Went to Cheddar's in Avon Indiana. I've been there multiple times before I have ordered the chicken Caesar salad multiple times before. This is the first time it is ever come back with pasta underneath the salad itself. When I order a chicken Caesar salad that's what I want I didn't order a chicken Caesar salad with pasta underneath it. The waitress precedes to tell me that that's how it's always been. I have lived in Avon Indiana since 2014 January 1st of 2014. I have been to Cheddar's over a hundred times since they put a Cheddar's in Avon. I have never in any time I've gone there in order the chicken Caesar salad I know the time I have gone there I have never had it come out with pasta on the bottom of it. Not on the bottom of the plate underneath the salad itself. The waitress was very nice she was very bubbly. Sweet lady with one to take it back and bring me back what I actually ordered which was a chicken Caesar salad no pasta included. She was very attentive very lovely person. She seems to be a little overwhelmed with everything that was going on there more customers coming in. But overall besides the salad having pasta underneath it the experience was nice.
BAD SERVICE…
Entered the resturant with our group of people, hostess tells us they are waiting for the server to arrive, so we can"t be seated till the server arrives. Thats #1 next we continue to wait for another 10 minutes and ask again whats going on, everyone one else comes in and gets seated but us. She claims still waiting on server. Finally afer 25 minutes another lady takes us back and tries to seat 12 people at a 8 persons table.Well just goes on and on. We finally had enough and left the restuarant went across the street and had a pleasant meal and nite. Unfortunately the York location needs to teach the staff about rudeness and how to accomodate the public, We are 12 people who will never return to this york location again.

I ordered the cornbread white fish, baked potato (they gave no option not to have sour cream, which I detest), broccoli casserole and bread. The potato was not done and was hard inside and paying extra for bacon and cheese did no good since the sour cream was added. The fish had no taste and really tasted frozen, which I'm sure it was based on the shape of a triangle. My dog wouldn't even eat it and that's saying something. The broccoli casserole was good, the roll was good, but I won't go again.
Slowest restaurant ever.
For the second time, we walked in and waited. And waited. And waited.no one attempted to help seat us. And then left. Cheddars will never see us again.
Cheddars…very disappointing
This was our first time at Cheddars since covid took over. Sadly this will be our last visit too...
One of the steaks ordered which should have been medium was more medium well,very little pinkish brown... the chicken Alfredo had very runny sauce and completely mushy broccoli. Last and the most important was the removal of onion rings from your menu. This was the whole reason for choosing cheddars after so long so it was very disappointing. All in all doesn't leave a lot of reason for any of us to return.

We were a party of 8 at Cheddars from S. Semoran Blvd. Orlando, Florida. Today 4/2/21 at 9pm. Our waiter Mr. Thomas he was such a delightful of person. Great customer service we all at the table had a great food experience thanks to him. Very professional and polite, I hope the next time I visit Cheddars Thomas will be there.

This was the worse service ever order…
This was the worse service ever order food and appetizers never got appetizers and food was ice cold. When server told manager because he was right next to our table because of a complaint as well . He stated I can’t talk right now I can only handle one complaint at a time. Poor customer service and then told the server to make sure she take all the food off the table that the people didn’t want. Sad he should not handle the job he needs another profession. Pissed customer.

As a local, we frequent local restaurants as much as possible. We realize due to Covid, things have changed. Checked in with Hostess; he instructed there would be a 25-30 wait @ 3:30pm and we should wait in our vehicle/ we requested a a front section near window so we could watch our vehicle w/ dog in it... NO ONE working that area said the Hostess.. We watched several parties pull up and go in. They did not come back out. We checked with Hostess @ 4pm; still nothing available. Finally seated after 45 mins.; another 20 mins before drink order taken-- waiter said he did not know we were his table. The area we wanted to sit was not been seated with individuals-- yet we could not sit there. Resultantly ordered.. Received food... the Potato Soup was "SALTED" beyond human consumption; Mgr see out the loop and did not offer much resolution. We left without eating and will not return. The Kitchen or some one "purposely" Salted the soup out of vengeance. Be very care going here.. .do not trust the staff/management.
Vacation - 10 Anniversary…
We were on vacation and drove to Brentwood, TN and stopped at Cheddars #2168. We had the best waiter, Ziad M..He made us feel welcomed and showed me how to sign up for Cheddars club. Our lunch was delicious. He was very attentive. I wish there were more waiters like him.

I have a whole attitude about my experience. As a matter of fact, i am completely livid. Let's begin with my actual phone call. Press 1 for take out. I sat on hold almost 30 min before someone took my order. Not to mention that there was bo hold music or anything saying that someone wld be w you in a min. It was complete silence to where u dnt even knw if someone is EVER coming to the phone or not. When i voiced my opinion to whatever acting manager answered my call eventually i was greeted with ATTITUDE like it was wrong of me to even have a problem. Then, when i asked for the GM my call was disconnected. Now regardless of what drew said there is a BIG difference from somebody placing you on hold and someone hanging up in your face. Then, to be told that $5 for 4 extra shrimp just seem like highway robbery to make matters even worse. Reality check!!!! Your new orleans pasta IS NOWHERE AS GOOD AS IT USED TO BE!!!!! Its dry AF and if you wld like to enjoy it then you have to even order a cup of sauce on the side. Otherwise you would CHOKE from it being so DRY! NOW lets get to my conversation with drew, when he finally felt like i was important enough to come to the phone for...HORRIBLE MANAGER!!! PLEASE DONT TELL ME THAT GETTING HUNG UP ON WAS AN ACCIDENT!!!! BS!!!! U MEANT TO DO THAT!!! HOLD IS ONE BUTTON AND HANG UP IS U PLACING THE PHONE ON A HANG UP BUTTON!!! GTFOH!!! I AM LIVID AND PISSED with my experience anfdd plan to complain on ANY and EVERY social platform that i can beginning with google amd trust pilot and believe me when i say google lets me know how many people keep up with my reviews and its in the thousands!!!! The worst service I have ever had!!! I did a Togo online at the Greenville, SC location and the manager Dale Hager. Are horrible!! I had issues with my online order and they promised me that they would give me my money back after the mistake they knew they made, and they never did. I even called the corporate office and they promised me the same thing; nothing was resolved. If you go to this place, please run because they want give you what you deserve as a customer.

This review is made after having a birthday meal with our daughter. First of all, we were told that since we wanted it at 7pm, our whole party had to be there at 6:45pm; Anyone that came after that would not be seated with us. To me, that was harsh and utterly stupid (to say the least) Especially since the tables we were sitting in were not In an enclosed area! As we sit and wait, I hear the Greeters tell a White lady that once HALF her party gets there, they would be seated. WELL, WHAT IS YOUR POLICY???🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️OR DO YOU GO BY THE RACE OF THE PARTY??? Well, finally, we were seated, and here comes MR NO-PERSONALITY CAMERON the server. He took our drink order. THREW STRAWS ON THE TABLE WITHOUT COUNTING PEOPLE OR STRAWS! Then our food order. He had trouble with his memory. Never looked at us as we were ordering. Just pointed to the next one like we were inferior objects. My husband NEVER received a refill on his drink. Then we asked for to-go plates. Why did he have to put his hands on the inside of the plates? 😫😫😫Not a good idea at all! He then gave us the tickets. There were 2 that was not right. He said he would make a mental memory of it but he didn’t because he charged us our bills with the mistakes on them! To top that, once he collected the money and credit cards, HE STACKED THEM UP IN 3 BOOKS AND ASKED MY NIECE TO PASS THEM AROUND AND FIGURE OUT WHO THEY BELONG TO!!!!! WHAT?.... Our names were on the durn cards... And we gave them to Cameron NOT her!! One of the younger girls paid cash and didn’t get her three dollars back because his “mental note” was not working. We still tipped 20% as we always do but this was so ridiculous!!! Never want this server again! The food was actually good.

Only complaint was that the servers didn't come around often enough and I had to sit waiting on something to drink several times. Food was fresh and delicious, was exactly what we wanted. Will return in the future.

1st visit:
Ordered the ribeye steak medium rare, came out a little under done, was a nice cut of meat, I specifically asked if I would get the piece back. Was told yes. What came back was a steak that if lucky was 1/4" think (no lie). It was a pasty grey color as they couldn't leave it on the grill for long. I asked where the steak was that I sent back (it was 1/2" thick) has the corner cut off. Was told this was the same steak, back and forth, told them I wasn't happy with the replacement steak.
Also ordered BBQ Ribs. These were washed out in flavor, and tough.
Service was extremely slow.
Manager comped the steak.
2nd visit: ordered the steak again, med rare. Came out well done, was again extremely thin 1/4" think.
Asked to speak with the manager, waited literally 20 mins. Asked repeatedly. Ended up leaving paying for the food we didn't eat, and didn't see the manager.
Server took the food back to the kitchen, uneaten.
Will never go back, Only seen the waitress 4 times, drink order, food order, and receipt and her returning our credit card. Had to ask other waitresses to see if we could get the manager. Which didn't work.
In fairness the service was excellent…

At the end of the day the phrase "you get what you pay for" rings true.
