The most unprofessional agency and worst experience since renting with them. They breached GDPR and our personal data was exposed, evey month they come back with diffrent requirements (e.g. rent not paid, documents not provided) and when we show them the proof that everything is done in aligment with the agreement, Right to Rent and all deadlines are respected they hide behid - "sorry it was an error".

My experience with Charters Estate Agents has been great so far. I was interested in a semi-detached house and managed to get a viewing booked for the very next day. The viewing itself was quick, and the application form was straightforward and easy to fill out.
​Later that same day, I had a call from Joshua to review my application, and just a couple of hours after that, Lucy from the Hove branch called to let me know my application had been successfully approved by the landlord.
​Everyone involved was exceptionally professional and easy to deal with.

We had a couple of viewings with Sam and he was so helpful and kind. I personally find viewing properties very stressful but he was very assuring and made the process enjoyable! Thank you Sam!!

Very thorough and knowlegable property management service from our dedicated property manager (Bessie Tighe) Helpful briefings to landlords and tenants on new requirments. Excellent communication between dedicated property manager and landlord. Clear invoicing and prompt monthly payment of rents.

We have just completed on selling our house in Southampton which has been a long process due to Housing England. Gary has been very supportive and has been a good link between the sellers and ourselves. Keeping us updated throughout the experience. The whole team have communicated well including Carly and the team at Bitterne.

Jo monitored and tracked progress of the sale and purchase from agreement through to exchange, and kept all parties informed on a weekly basis. Where there were conflicts or potential blockers she dealt with these swiftly. I really appreciated her 'can do' attitude and cheerful dialogue.

From my initial call, I was treated honestly and politely (and turned away) as my move in date was far off. When I noticed the flat again I considered it worth one more try. I was greeted with warmth, professionalism and an expedient arrangement was decided that suited my schedule (nearly 100 miles away). I proceeded to get a bit lost as I came close to the flat to view, but this was handled with exemplary graciousness and a genuine smile. The welcome and discussion over details once viewing was excellently fielded and matched my mature outlook. I hope to be with Charters for the foreseeable rental circumstances and my appreciation and gratitude goes particularly to Molly Howley who provided me with time and courtesy amid the heat at the very end of her day. Also a warm shout-out to Kyle in tech issues - all in all - very sensitive to a tenants position . Thankyou to Staff, to their service and I highly recommend Charters Southampton.

Harry Hodges customer service is second to none, his willingness to help is unmatched. I would always choose to deal with Harry.

Peter went above and beyond to get a damages deposit returned to me as a landlord. It was a difficult dispute that took a very long time but Peter managed to finalise the issue.

Charters have been helpful, knowledgable, approachable and understanding right from the point of viewing, receiving an offer through to exchange.
Jo has been patient and friendly throughout a particularly long and drawn out process and I am very grateful for their support throughout.

Sam was an excellent veiwing guide, helpful friendly and informative. He made the experience very good for me!

We have been working with Bessie tighe at charters for some time now, she has always been extermely attentive and helpful should we have any queries.

I owuld reccomend any landlord/tenant to charters based on the service we have reicved thus far.

Rhian Barton is absolutely phenomenal!
My experience with her was great. I signed up with Charters and within 24 hours I secured a property, thanks to her!
She went above and beyond to meet my needs, she knew exactly what I was looking for in a home and messaged me when she saw that a property would align with me the most.

Very speedy response time and I was able to comfortably engage with her while I was at work. She negotiated with the landlord and I was able to get a deal! The entire transaction from her sending me a video of the property to sign off took a bit 1 hour.

Great service, she is dedicated and deserves a raise for going a step above!

We are extremely happy with the service we’ve received from Charters Estate agents, particularly from Freddie, who has been helpful through the whole process of house hunting and choosing a property. Freddie was patient and never pushy, and always available to answer all our questions (there were lots!) Very glad that the property we found was through Charters, so far it has been a smooth and easy experience.

Charters Estate Agents were professional from start to finish. Our Sales Progressor, Jo, was amazing with great communication throughout. She was always friendly, helpful, and did everything she could to keep our purchase moving forward. Charlie was also very helpful as our estate agent, making the whole experience as smooth as possible.
