My experience with Cdiscount is generally good. It is much better than many e-commerce companies and solves my needs. I am very grateful, but it would be better if some details could be improved.

Entirely Untrustworthy

I placed an order for some workout equipment that cdiscount had for a great price online. I had to go through my bank for verification... the verification passed... but later I was told that it hadn't and I was advised to run my credit card again...
...which I did. Two days went by. I was told that they were preparing my order and that it should arrive by... TODAY, in fact. But this morning I woke up and was told that my payment... which I'd now passed with my bank... TWICE... had been declined again.

So I thought "This must be some mistake"... I attempted to get in touch with their customer service... only to discover that they HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

There's no phone number you can call. They say that you can use the chat feature on their website... but it doesn't exist. There's also no email support!

I was eventually able to reach someone (after going through some kind of chatbot) on Facebook. Their only advice was to run my credit card a third time. When I told them that this was no longer possible because my command had been cancelled... They suggested I place my order again.

When I told them that this was impossible because the price had gone up... They gave me some speech about them having the best prices in the land and offered no resolution at all.

Don't... EVER... buy anything from them.

They're a complete waste of time.

EDIT: March 2024. CDiscount has responded that they DO have customer service available. I implore everyone reading this review to go to their website and try to find it. It's true that they do have a telephone number available where, for 70 cents a minute, you can attempt to reach someone. I wish you the best of luck with that.

Damien, of CDiscount also said he would reach out to me regarding my order. For what it's worth... he did NOT. I stand by my review.

My colleagues will answer you by phone, on the website chat, by message in your Customer Area and on social networks.

I do not trust CDiscount

I do not trust CDiscount, and would NEVER recommend them.....and believe they are frankly, duplicitous.
I recently placed an order with them for a ' garden leisure item' , ..order was accepted....wrong goods delivered...ordered goods did not.
I now recognise that CDiscount had CHOSEN not to fulfill this order, because it transpired that they were charging less for the item than anybody else, and were basically reneging on their offer...which is DESPICABLE.
I was therefore pleased...via PayPal ...to get the order annulled ( which ironically will have SUITED CDiscountas well) but I was left just happy NOT TO TRADE with such unscrupulous people....and I honestly urge you not to do so either.
They get one star, because I cannot give zero stars.
