I recently purchased insulation materials from and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience. Their products are top quality — durable, efficient, and easy to work with. I’ve already noticed a big difference in noise reduction and temperature control after using their insulation.

Beware this seller
Beware this seller. Ordered several rolls of insulation and none of them matched up to the descriptions on the website. 10mm foam was actually 7mm thick. 20mm was actually 14mm and 30mm was 25mm. They initially claimed it was manufacturing discrepancies but then admitted on the phone that all their rolls were like this. Also some of the rolls I received, were not the lengths I ordered (20-30cm short). Looking on ebay, other folk have discovered this too. It would appear to be intentional false advertising of products with greater thicknesses than they actually are. Car Insulation / LUX intentionally falsely advertises their products- which is by definition consumer fraud. When I reported this to them out of good faith, they got vindictive and blamed me. Then tried to trick me into paying for return postage. The foam is cheap quality and the adhesive backing failed on several rolls so I had to buy additional glue to get it to stick. Unfortunately had no choice as the usual company I use was out of stock. Better buying dodo mat or dead sound products- MUCH better quality and they don't lie about their thicknesses.
UPDATE 5TH JUNE: In reply to the comments left by Car Insulation today: I did make several attempts to openly and kindly share this feedback with you through email and on the phone for weeks. I left this review as a last resort. I placed 3 orders, 2 of which had to be returned because they were not as described. The 3rd order I had to make do with and use additional glue to get the adhesive layer to stick after several foam sheets failed. Also regarding "repeated references to a competitor"....I made one reference to a competitor and I do not work for them. I am just warning future customers but thanks for trying to insinuate my "hidden objective" here. This response and behaviour is exactly why I left this review here and on Google (just 2 reviews NOT "a series of negative reviews")...do not exagerrate. It comes across strongly that the person running this company has an ego problem. None of this takes away from the fact that Car Insulation / LUX intentionally falsely advertises their products with the intention of cutting corners to maximise profits. They admitted their foam is thinner than specified. That's consumer fraud. But sure, instead of admitting that or taking accountability- they would rather have a go at the customer who tried over the space of 2 months to bring this to your attention but still you chose to blame instead and avoid taking any responsibility

Over a short period, Mr. Paul placed multiple orders with us, raising issues with each one. Despite our efforts to resolve every concern promptly and respectfully—including offering full refunds—we continued to receive complaints that were inconsistent and difficult to reconcile. In the end, we felt it best to issue a full refund and focus on serving customers who value open, constructive communication.
Interestingly, even after receiving a refund, Mr. Paul placed another order, which we made the decision to cancel as a precaution. Following this, a series of negative reviews appeared across different platforms. We also noticed repeated references to a competitor, which raises concerns about the intent behind these reviews.
We take great pride in being honest, respectful, and fair with every customer, and our track record reflects that. While we regret this situation, we believe it’s important to be transparent and stand by the integrity of our business.
