I buy 90% of my clothes from care of carl. I have been a customer since 2023, first living in Sweden and now in Netherlands. The service has been perfect. I could not recommend it more.

I try to contact the customer service because my parcel was not moving since 5 days. No reply from customer care. Later I have a issue of the return. Customer care per WhatsApp doesn’t say hi or hello. They just pasted a paragraph of terms of use… never experienced so bad customer service anywhere else.

I am genuinely shocked by how Care of Carl handled my case. I purchased a pair of premium gloves, and immediately after receiving them, they had a musty, unpleasant odor. Because of this, I washed them once, exactly according to the official care instructions (gentle machine wash at 30°C).

After that single correct wash, the gloves completely broke down. The outer coating peeled off, the surface looked melted or burned, and the seams started failing. The product became totally unusable.

Instead of taking responsibility for what is clearly a material or manufacturing defect, Care of Carl rejected my claim with a vague one-line excuse: “external factors.” No photos, no evidence, no real explanation, and no transparency.

They refused any refund or replacement and only offered to send the gloves back or have them repaired at my own expense. That is not how a serious webshop should treat customers, especially when selling expensive “premium” products.

This experience has shown me that Care of Carl is friendly only until something goes wrong. If you ever have an issue, don’t expect fair treatment or proper consumer support.

I will never shop here again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before ordering.

This company stole my money and won't refund me. I bought shoes on their website before Christmas. Unfortunately I had to return them. The package arrived one week after. I have been waiting for a refund for more than a month and they are ignoring all my emails.

Avoid at all cost. Terrible customer support.
I've ordered 2 pair of shoes and impossible to return as the customer support refused. The size doesn't fit and now I have 2 pairs of shoes that I can't wear.

I have order from Care of Carl several times, always 100% satisfied, if for a reason the product doesn’t fit its very easy to return

But mainly the selection of clothes are superb and if order on sale a lot of attractive options and the description of product is above my high expectation

orders made in error cannot be cancelled immediately and money is being dededucted immediately

I still have not been refunded for my order which they could not deliver when post code was clearly stated. The order says it is still in my country but I cannot collect it. I still have not been refunded and the customer service are not helpful at all .

I returned a Barbour jacket (it was too short). At no point was I informed that the item was faulty or incomplete, and I had no reason to believe it was (the jacket arrived without any tags attached, only wrapped in plastic with a barcode).

When I returned it, the return was rejected due to a missing label, something that was never included in the original delivery! This is really unfortunate that Care of Carl has the ability to quality-check returns but not outgoing shipments, then placing the responsibility on the customers for not being able to spot any mistake, and rejecting their returns. Overall, a very frustrating and disappointing experience.

Like sending out faulty items and then rejecting returns while expecting customers to identify the mistake themselves.

Terrible service. I returned my parcel nearly two months ago and still haven't received my refund. Customer support keeps saying "soon," but it's been far too long. If this issue isn’t resolved soon, I will never shop here again.

Very disappointed with this company. I ordered a cashmere cotton Finamore Polo shirt. What I got was a cotton jersey shirt (not polo). The difference is quite obvious to anyone who fulfilled the order. Now I have the inconvenience and no doubt will have to bear the cost of returning it. Poor. Not again.

My first order went smoothly ( extra star for that) , but when I tried to place a second order, everything went wrong. I spent several days trying to complete my purchase. The system kept prompting me to choose a shipping method, but no options were available.

I contacted support by email multiple times and only received unhelpful, standard replies. I also reached out via WhatsApp, and after explaining my issue, the support agent abruptly ended the chat and never followed up.

In parallel to that, they sent me a promo code that was supposed to be valid for two days, but it expired just hours later. Extremely frustrating—what should have been a simple order turned into a complete hassle. Not recommending this service.

Took ages to refund nearly 2 months had to charge back with bank to get refund
