I worked with Stephen Wright when I decided that I wanted to move forward in my career and find a position with greater reach and responsibility. Stephen’s coaching was invaluable in helping me get my ideal job for three reasons.

1. First, he was able to help me develop a great job search plan, so I had real clarity.

2. Second, he teaches you how to perform well in interviews, which was very insightful and helped me to fully articulate what I had to offer the client during a series of detailed interviews.

3. Finally, it was evident that he really cared about me doing well and was very supportive throughout the process.

Suffice to say, Stephen's excellent coaching enabled me to land my current role in a global, multi-national, leading player in the content and entertainment sector.

Stephen was highly recommended to me by a friend and ex colleague. I was at a point in my career, employed but wanted a change and unsure of how to plan and make my next move. From the first time I contacted Stephen, he was very professional and he had a targeted approach. I found the materials that he gave me and his style of delivery highly impactful and assisted me greatly in my thinking process. We covered a lot of ground during our one-to-one sessions, such as the purpose of me wanting to change my current job, what I would like to do, how to narrow it down so my search is more productive, scoring of new opportunities, interview techniques as well as writing my CV in the most effective way, with his 10-step system. I found his life stories particularly insightful, as he has a wide range of experiences and those give you some perspective. He is particularly good in steering you to the right direction and his confidence and enthusiasm inspires you to keep on trying, without being critical. His continuous support following our sessions is very helpful to me as I am going through interviews. Very positive and pleasant person. Great coach and I would certainly recommend him.

Endlessly positive and optimistic, knowledgable, practical and (this is the best bit) downright cunning; Stephen Wright is clear sighted enough to know that the recruitment process is an exercise in sales.

If, like me, you are not a natural self-promoter, then the people at Career Mentor will make you re-assess this and ask the question 'Why shouldn't I sell myself?' Then they will show you how.

I was introduced to Career Mentor by a senior former colleague who had used them and told me how good Stephen was as a Career coach / mentor. As I trusted my contact, I agreed to meet with Stephen for an introductory chat (even though I was somewhat Sceptical ahead of the meeting). I am so glad I did, Stephen was phenomenal. I thought I was pretty good at marketing myself but he took things to a whole new level, e.g. introducing me to the concept of "the Golden Arrows" and when and how to use them.
The sessions I had were really were beneficial but more than that, the things I learn from Stephen I am also successfully applying outside the work environment.
