After mistakenly ordering a pair of speakers that didn't fit (which arrived very quickly) the return process was very simple. The email communication about the matter was some of the best communication I've received from a retailer and the return/exchange was turned around very rapidly.
The replacement speakers in the correct size arrived the next day.

Absolutely fantastic service and communication, I will definitely be using again as it's so rare to find a company this easy and pleasant to deal with.

I used to be a regular customer of Car Audio Direct back when they started. They were an excellent company and the exclusive distributor of some brands such as Diamond Audio. They were fast, professional, and very reasonable with any customer issues.

What the hell happened? I've recently needed to buy some new speakers and thought I'd revisit a past favourite rather than pop round to Halfords. What a mistake. Two weeks later, after having my money taken from my account, I had received nothing. No dispatch notice. No update. No explanation.

I emailed them on the Friday and got a reply on the Monday afternoon explaining the item was on back order and offering me an alternative set of speakers that were priced £10 higher. Instead, I asked for refund which I promptly received along with an apology explaining there had been a system error with the order.

As any ICE enthusiast will know, we need our products delivered on time as we often have to allocate time to fit the equipment.

I must say they were a pleasure to work with. I spoke to Dips and he was most helpful. The kit for my SAAB 9-3 08 worked perfectly and was so easy to fit. Would tell anyone don't mess around go to CarAudio Direct.

Phoned this company and queried it items were in stock as I needed them quickly, was told they were and to order from the website. Placed the order shortly after the call on the Saturday and chose next day delivery to ensure it was delivered on the Tuesday. Just got off the phone to be told that it hasn't been sent because the items had only just come back into stock. Very poor customer service and if you want items on a deadline i would suggest that you steer well clear of these & find somewhere else!!!

I needed to install a stereo, previously purchased from Car Audio Direct, into my son's car and connect to make full use of steering controls, etc. Raised a query through CAD website and got a quick response with links for the required adaptor said. I ordered these and set about installing the unit on Sunday...took me all of ten minutes. Straight swap with no problems. Great to do business with.

ordered speakers , informed the company i had not received them putting the blame on royal mail now ime out of pocket and no products if you boy pay for signed not tracked . No return phone calls or e-mails off the well cheesed off trading standards next step , Not a happy Bunny

Order # 100324723 Tue 3rd of May. Chased when no response after 1 week, to be told the product was on back-order. would i like to choose an alternative. Duly done, no word since. None responsive to follow up email. Sorry, service like this is enough to drive you to Halfords!. After 3 phone calls I managed to get a replacement radio delivered 17th May. Not the one I choose but good enough. Compared to the service from other sites this was not CADs finest hour (sorry fortnight)

Incredible: two weeks after the payment, no info about the delivery neither an answer to my emails.
Also reclaiming through PayPal seems to be unuseful.
Don't buy anything on this site!

From the onset, the site was perfect to find everything I required to install a Kenwood Head Unit in my 2004 Mercedes 200 Coupe. Prior to ordering I spoke to adviser Dims several times who was patient with the fiftysomething. The Head Unit, JBLs and stalk control was installed without any problems. The delivery arrived next day, excellently packaged and secure and I would have no hesitation to the recommend this company to friends and relations. if you are looking to upgrade, don't Google shop for the items, go straight to the professionals Car Audio Direct.

I recently bought a car audio and sat nav from this company. They were more than helpful giving me part numbers to order, delivery was super fast and they could not have been more helpful in after sales advice when I hit a snag with fitters.would use them again in a jiffy

Products are good value for money and customer service is excellent. Before sale I contacted asking for help and advice. Received great help and after sales when I encountered a small problem I was given great help and guidance on a quick fix :) 10/10! Highly recommend.

Really great advice offered well pleased with the sub and amp package that was delivered a day early ! Nice to have someone to take the time to explain and share their knowledge. Would highly recommend these guys !! 10 out of 10

Needed 2 sets of stalk adaptors for 2 different cars / systems. Text on website isn't as clear as it should be about the need for both an adaptor cable for the car type and a patch cable for the stereo brand, but once this is understood it all works as expected.

However, I was sent an incorrect cable but CAD immediately turned this around and sent out a new one so I am very pleased with their level of service.

What more can I say I had a couple of grub screws missing from my vibe fast plug I contacted customer service about this in less than 24hrs yes less than 24hrs a complete new plug was sent through post can highly recommend car audio direct for if every company had service like this the world would be a better place regards Shane Martin Bristol.
