All round just not a good time, like many 'cannabis clinics'. Legally questionable (if not legally, certainly ethically) practices when it comes to charging for script release.
Customer service sucks/is non-existent.
End up spending twice as much money as you should need to with them, because scripts are constantly out of stock or discontinued and you're left with no choice but to sacrifice all repeats for a single sub and then are required to pay for a new consult weeks/months earlier than required anyway.
The 4 script limit and 10 day interval, doesn't allow for any safety net if, for example, 2 or more of your scripts are unable to be filled for whatever reason and the pharmacy is unable to get in touch with the prescriber and the consumer is unable to get in touch with Candor.
Somebody here in their review compared them to an eBay seller, but tbh even eBay sellers customer service these days are a step above this and most other clinics (thank you eBay). Running a business as if 'the customer has no other choice but do put up with our nonsense' will not last long.
Welcoming legislative changes to put these types of clinics not acting in the patients best interest, out of business.
Taking on more than you can chew at the expense of your customers experience and ability to seek out assistance if needed is not an excuse. I don't care that you have so many patients you cannot adequately manage them all.
There needs to be more accountability around reasonable expectations from the customer and definitive time-frames to have things done.
Making a formal complaint to APHRA and/or OHO as this place is not being run like a medical practice. I would strongly suggest you do the same if you're also having issues.
It's worth noting that these guys actually hide your scripts/purposefully don't upload to MySL, so you cant go anywhere else to fill your medication when there are issues with their own provider but they also do not respond in a timely manner/without constant follow up over several days. Power in numbers and vote with your feet!

Terrible, it’s like dealing with eBay sellers. The nurse asks you a question, you answer it, three days later they respond, with even dumber questions.
It’s a massive stuff around. If your someone that needs convenience don’t touch this clown show with a 20ft pole.

Applied on 11/01/2025, was quite a detailed questionnaire.
Wasn't contacted until 15/01/2025 by a nurse, who asked me more questions and asked me to provide them with access to my MyHealthRecord. Instructions for giving them access were out-of-date.
Took until the 20th before a different nurse acknowledged it.
Later, on the 20th a third nurse said they'd send me a link to make an appointment with the doctor. No link arrived - their instructions were again incorrect i.e. they don't send a link but just make the appointment booking system available to you - had to figure this out myself.
Made an appointment for 21/01/2025, but didn't hear from the doctor. When I enquired as to why not, a fourth nurse suggested my phone might not be capable of receiving private calls - this was incorrect, as I'd already tested it in advance.
Had to schedule another appointment for the 22/01/2025. This time gave them two phone numbers to call me on, but again I heard nothing from them - no calls to either number, no messages left, no TXTs - just a generic email to say the consult was over.
They were happy to take my consult fee in advance, though and demand access to MyHealthRecord.
Overall, a stressful experience and a waste of my time and money.

A number of issues with regards to contact within their systems. Be aware they will debit you for a pre consult but that you may end up with nothing. A refund under the Australian medical authority should be sought.

They have a good range of products but to get to that you have to constantly contact them to keep it moving along, the support doesnt exist ive had no response for 6 days, with prompts.
Ive been sent mouldy switched product and tried to get it fixed or at least try to, alas not a word from anyone bar the pharmacy.
This is medical?

The doctors are amazing.
The support team are hopeless.
My pharmacy has been trying to get support from them to fix my scripts for over a week with no help at all.
Disgusting.

I cannot stress enough how amazing Candor have been.
With special mention to Dr James Slade, the entire process has been seamless. They treat you with respect, and are very happy to discuss any queries or questions.
I cannot recommend them enough!
Absolutely avoid at all costs - they take weeks and weeks to conduct consultations with so called “nurses”. They are giving the industry a bad name. After what seemed like a lifetime they then asked to get a letter from my doctor anyway. They made me pay upfront also and intend to keep the fee. Complete scam. Avoid avoid avoid.

Had th most stressful time with candor, i paid $60 to get a consult & they ended up lying to me, giving me a product list, i paid for it & then after waiting a week to get th product i had to call around to see why i hadnt recieved it & then they tell me i cant get it after spending $320 , dont use these guys. They dont tell u the truth. Nurses are great, i feel sorry for them copping all th slack. Any doctor can dispense this, they just dont know how. So make them learn! Dont waste ur time with candor.

I've waited 8 days for a consultation. It's beyond a joke. I do not recommend using Candor. Late replies and no care to expedite anything. Trash company

You can get your scripts at pretty much any chemist. Do not pay the $30 fee

I switched to Candor after reading some good reviews on reddit but it has been such a terrible experience.
I've placed a few orders with them and there were many issues. Once I placed an order, I heard nothing until I followed up on the 4th day, and when I followed up they said the product was out of stock, these are medications that a lot of people rely on and they're not managing their orders timely.
On another instance, I placed an order, waited for 3 days, again the same thing, heard nothing at all, the status on the system is still not shipped, again i had to follow up, and they told me i have no script left so they cant ship it.
Actually I had 1 script left for it, in my previous order it got cancelled so I still had 1 left, even the system stated I have 1 script left, and when i followed up, they said no more scripts the system was wrong. Clearly they're not even aware my last order was cancelled, the system was actually right, but they are not tracking it properly.
On both occasions, I had to follow up to get updates, if I never followed up I dont know how long it wouldve taken them to actually fulfill customer orders.
Wouldn't recommend at all, I wish I hadn't switched, will probably change again, this is just such a frustrating experience.

HORRIBLE, i have reported them. It seems like no body actually works for this company. I have paid them and still 5 days later havent heard a thing. No confirmation email, nothing. And no way to talk to someone. Dont use this clinic

When I started using Candor, I wouldn't have thought twice to give them 5 stars. However, in the past 12 months or so, it keeps taking longer and longer for them to sort things out when you apply for a script.
Once upon a time it used to take Candor a matter of days, less than a week, to get your script sorted. Now they expect you to wait for weeks.
On Friday, I had a phone interview. I applied for the script 1 week before the phone interview. Now it's Monday and they still haven't changed my new script with the new products.
Before, once the phone interview was done, they used to make the new products available to you nearly straight away. Now after the phone call, they won't bother changing it for you until a week or so later.
This is really poor service. I am going to change provider once I find out the facts of a better place to go. I am sick and tired of having to wait weeks on end just to get my medicine.
Shame

My experience has previously been very positive, however, apparently they are experiencing staffing issues, which would not be a problem if it were communicated to their patients before making a payment.
I paid for a "check up" on Thursday afternoon, and just received a message today (sunday) saying the doctors have all been on holiday, and it'll probably be at least another week before an appointment can even be scheduled.
Then why accept payment for an appointment that you are unable to provide?
At least have the courtesy to keep patients in the loop, so other arrangements can be made.
Very very disappointing for a company that I have previously had a wonderful experience with. Very concerning.

My scripts got discontinued with several repeats left for each and they asked me to pay 60 dollars to change them to new ones. Screw candor

If you are like me and already use cannabis to treat your conditions, You've found this works for you and would like to do it legally but aren't actively going to see a doctor or psychologist I'm writing this for you, do not bother with medical cannabis..
you will be charged with an initial fee just to get rejected after giving over a lot of very personal information.
I've been using cannabis in moderation for the past 8 years and its given my life back, I've since personally seen this medicine treat skin cancers effectively without side effects.
Initially when I started using cannabis and removed my stigma around it I was gob smacked that it was so heavily regulated and demonized by the mainstream. but you know.. money and all that..
My experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
If you have been through the system and are looking for an alternative then by all means go for it,
Id love the be able to obtain this medicine legally but I guess ill just keep on breaking the law
note: Its probably not so much candors fault but more so the TGA regulations around this plant but I needed to vent my frustration.. I found the experience to be a bit too personal for a disappointing outcome.
I could've spent that money on weed, support your local cannabis dealer
Online is much easier and more effective! I've had small issues arise accessing scripts, but Sarah and the nursing team are lightning quick to respond and even quicker to fix the issue at hand with real authenticity!!
Frankly, if it wasn't for the help of the Sarah, I'd probably have gone back to F2F appointments and e-scripts
