They have listed my and other websites, all with incorrect information, all without permission and have broken copyright by stealing images and content from websites. When asked to remove my listing they refuse.

Updated to reply: More lies, I have never sent 'hateful or abusive' emails. I have repeatedly emailed you to ask you to remove us from your directory as the information is completely wrong, we don't accept campervans, we don't want to be listed with you and any further admin you cause us will be billed for. As this appears to be the only way to contact you, I am officially asking you to cease and desist listing us, using our copyrighted content without permission and publishing inaccurate information about us.

As an owner of various motorhomes they are constantly sending spam emails trying to persuade me to advertise with them. I have always said that I am not interested and requested no more contact or emails but they keep harassing me to sign up.
Judging by other reviews and feedback it is a good job I refused.

There is absolutely no way to contact anyone at the company in regards to an issue I'm having with someone who cancelled our trip. It's beyond frustrating. Do not book a camper through this company, as you risk losing large sums of money with no customer service to assist.

Update: What Camperbug has responded to this review is completely inaccurate, and perhaps if they responded to even one of my emails they would know that. I booked a campervan with Emma in November 2022 and paid a deposit to Camperbug. In May 2023 I paid the remaining sum and sent back the contract. Emma then said she was no longer able to fulfil the booking because of where we planned to take the camper (NOT because she had rented it out elsewhere), and refunded the remaining sum, but said I needed to contact Camperbug to receive the initial deposit back. I've contacted them many times but have yet to receive a single response, apart from their response to this review. They continue to ignore my every email, and have no other way to contact them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I'm not sure this is still an active company.
After sending out a couple of requests to book vans and getting no responses at all I looked in vain for some contact details for the company. Failing to find any way of contacting camperbug I checked their Facebook page which seems not to have been updated since 2019.
Then I came here and found 4.5 stars and nearly 30 reviews. These reviews looked great until I noticed that all of the 5* reviews were placed during the same week of January 2022 with the trips taken in January 2022. It appears that the reason January was such a busy time in the camper van rental business was the unseasonable weather with one of these reviews mentioning that their trip was on the hottest day of the year.......
Smells a bit fishy to me so I think I'll look elsewhere for my campervan rentals.

Update: After renting a campervan and speaking to customer services I have to say things got better. Website still needs a bit of work however they were helpful in the end.

So far, not impressed. Website full of useless information about holiday destinations but misleading quotes (have to pay insurance on top to owner even though it appeared that insurance was included). Be warned: "Total to pay" is not actually the total No option to contact anyone at the company. Seriously, I've searched for hours and there is no support. It's basically a classified ad site for owners to advertise their campervan with a messaging service.

We had a fantastic time away up in Scotland around the coast line, and the owner Chris is so lovely to deal with, definitely would book again and definitely good price

We had a really enjoyable trip with Snowball despite the horrendous weather for two of the days. Jamie was awesome and made our trip a breeze. Snowball was amazing to drive and easy to manoeuvre and was equipped with everything we needed. Thoroughly recommend both the site and Jamie - thank you Leon, Georgie Ezi

• Had a brilliant time away in Billy in 2020. Paul the owner was exceptionally helpful and the campervan is as good as described. Can highly recommend it. Definitely worth five stars.

Found a factory California through Camperbug and our trip (first time with a camper in fact) could not have been smoother. The site is easy to use and communication with the owner through Camperbug was hassle-free. In fact the entire rental from pick-up to drop-off was superb.

Hiring Sonny out for the weekend absolutely made my Summer.Meeting Nina was amazing and she went through everything there was to know first, for our weekend away. She helpfully labelled things and sent us off with all the attachments and even some supplies like milk in the fridge. We went for a little test drive first and I found this so helpful to watch how Sonny was handled before hopping into the drivers seat and having a go myself. He was an absolute dream to drive, getting constant looks and waves from passers by as we drove down to the coast and I was beaming the whole time We drove on one of the hottest days of the year and there was amazing shade and airflow in the van. We set up the awning attachment and used the stove to cook our meals with no problem. I could not recommend hiring Sonny enough, it has always been my dream to own a camper and to hire one out for the weekend just made it possible. Thank you to Nina for being so, communicative, helpful and just lovely X

We hired Hendrix to celebrate my wifes 40th is a slightly different way. Hendrix was great fun. We loved the slower pace of life a van like Hendrix invites demands you to adopt We pootled about Dorsets coastline for a few days. The kids and grandparents joined us for a day and Hendrix served us well easily taking all our beach stuff, including paddle board, picnic and the usual kids toys. Will was very accommodating and friendly. He was happy to offer advice on where to camp in Dorset. Great fun.

Zoe was fantastic in her comms and support throughout. The van is in excellent condition and was an absolute lifesaver for the time we had it. Would look to hire again

Paul and Billy were absolutely fantastic. Billy was immaculate and drove like a dream. I was left bacon, bread and milk which was a lovely touch. Nothing was too much trouble and I'll definitely be hiring Billy again.

Ham-ish was just perfect His design is warm and welcoming. He had everything we needed for a long weekend road trip to the Jurassic Coast and Dorset. We were able to stay literally on the seaside and enjoy stunning vews of the Coast durin sunrise. Roddy was very helpful and accomodating, specially because i booked the van just few hours before pick up time. He also gave us good adviced on where to go and sleep. I would definitely travel again with Ham-ish again

I had a WONDERFUL trip in Debs. I'm a designer and I had a long trip to make and a week on site working and sleeping in the van. Debs is super comfortable and there was enough space for me to work and live really comfortably for the whole week. It was freezing cold outside -4 one night but I was always cosy. The auxiliary heater works really efficiently and the kettle boils fast I loved that the van was so easy and smooth to drive, that all the storage was so well thought out, as many others have said, and although I think vintage VWs are so cute it was great to be in such a new modern functional vehicle when I had work on my mind not just fun. Hand over and drop off couldn't have been simpler, whole team really friendly and easy.

Earl is so incredible, he is stunning to look at both inside and out. He has everything that you need for a camping trip with loads of storage space inside. He comes with plenty of internal lighting and loads of room with the roof popped up. We took Earl for 5 days to the Lake District and although we had electric hook up on camps its really not needed due to the great leisure battery which charges as soon as you start the engine or start driving. It was a pleasure dealing with Elliott and the communication was great. I would highly recommend Earl, we will certainly be booking Earl again.

Had a great week on the Gower in Edi. Really good communication and an easy pick up from Sean's place. Van super clean and simple to use and drive. Good size for country lanes and really quick and easy to set up if you want a quick cuppa. Really covid friendly holiday.

Absolutely brilliant It was our first time in a campervan, so was unsure how it would go but it was perfect. I'd hired the van as a surprise for my husband's 50th birthday - something he'd always wanted to do. Tony was great with all the updates and communications, very prompt and gave a great overview when we picked up the van. Can highly recommend if you fancy a little adventure.

We can't say enough good things about Wolfie and his owners. Tim was super friendly and very helpful, and did everything he could to equip Wolfie with all of the things we needed. Everything was very well explained to us on collection and we had a fantastic trip We can't wait to rent Wolfie again in the future.
