It’s ok

It’s ok! I get it’s at the castle so a tourist premium applies. Saw better at Landmark for a lot cheaper. Not worth over £80 for two adults and two children. Should be a family or ‘locals’ rate. Wouldn’t recommend or go back but we did have a good time

Fun place for families

The kids liked it, very interactive and fun museum. Quite expensive for 5 of us, c. £100 as a family during Easter holidays and the view from the camera at the top would be better on a clear bright day. The staff are lovely and the activities kept us entertained for a couple of hours, something a bit different.

Gone AWOL and not replying after sending them the camera and to email or messages. Seems a scam. Beware.

Camera Obscura and World of Illusions: Worth a visit, better on a good weather day.

Once you have beaten the crowds for the Edinburgh Castle then the next place to go should be the Camera Obscura. Each floor going up to the viewing platform has a collection of optical illusions in print, digital and physical formats for your entertainment. Great for kids and adults alike. Even the gift shop got more attention than the castle gift shop. Worth a visit, better on a good weather day.
