Wow - if Carlsberg sold cars, this is how they'd do it!!

I bought a nearly new XC90 Ultra from Cambridge Garage in January 2026 and had the best experience of a cur purchase in my 35 years of owning and driving cars!!
Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to ensure that I walked away happy. On the Volvo Owners' Forum they have a reputation for trust, integrity and honesty, which is why I was happy to travel 2hrs to get to them and I have to say their reputation is well deserved - Ross & Andy, thanks for everything, I really do appreciate all that you have done for me! :)

Excellent service from Cambridge Garage…

Excellent service from Cambridge Garage Havant.

My Polestar 3 was recovered to them following an onboard charger failure, and throughout the process they have been professional, helpful and proactive. They diagnosed the fault quickly, kept me informed, and have done everything they can to escalate the issue and push for the repair to be progressed as fast as possible.

Although the wider issue has been frustrating, that is not down to Cambridge Garage Havant. Everyone I have dealt with there has been courteous, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. They have clearly tried to support me and move things forward wherever possible.

A very good dealership to deal with, and I’m grateful for their efforts.

A dreadful experience

A dreadful experience. I went to collect my new car and found out that the wrong colour had been ordered. It wasn’t the salesman’s fault as the garage should have checked the order and before telling me that the car was ready to collect they should have checked the right car had been delivered as per my order that was discussed at the time of order with the sales man and the manager who commented on the colour selection yet nobody noticed this wasn’t on the car that was delivered! That is a fault of the garage.

5 Stars so far and that is just for the…

5 Stars so far and that is just for the Sales team, particularly Abbie. Right from the start there was a warm but professional welcome. We had not expected to make a test drive that day but were surprised when we were asked if we had time to do one. This helped seal the deal and we ordered a brand new XC40 Ultra.
All the way through the process Abbie personally kept us fully informed which, as well as the Volvo App, was great as we knew the exact status of our car as it was built.
Abbie also made the day of collection extra special.
I expected the car to be outside but was treated to a surprise unveiling in the showroom as the car was covered by a large cloth wrap. Totally unexpected and was very special.
Abbie was superb throughout and I even recommended her to a friend who has also ordered a new car through her.

Overall an excellent experience so far and I have no hesitation in recommending Cambridge Garage and particularly Abbie who looked after us.

Problem? Sorted.

Makes having a fault on the car so much easier to deal with. Service department cannot do enough to resolve the problem without any hassle. Great team. Thank you.

My battery had given up

My battery had given up. Several staff around of the type you expect in back street garage but nobody available to fix a battery (5 minute job). Only walk in service available after 10 days. Tried the Petersfield service centre. One man tapping on a computer. Polite but could not help for "safety reasons". My own safety, a car that was about to breakdown not part of the equation. Went to 2U Tyres. Very helpful, sorted on the spot.
