Cant order a replacement swing without emailing, then getting a quote etc etc.
I am happy with price online, allows you to put in basket with address, but then says you have not picked delivery with nothing to pick!! Thought it was just because i was using my phone so went on computer & just the same, making me phone to be told you cant order that online.........
So annoying........

We have purchased from Caledonia Play a few times over the years and always get an excellent service.

Yesterday, I sent an enquiry for some safety matting. It was dealt with promptly, and the matting arrived today. This was exceptional service given the time of year - Caledonia Play made sure we got a prompt service, asked questions and responded quickly.

Cannot rate the service highly enough

Same as previous reviewer, we've had their bolts snap after a few years whilst the swingset was in use. Its incredibly dangerous, and the whole thing could have come down on top of my children with consequences I'd rather not think about.

I've sent photos of the snapped bolts but really I dont see how this can be fixed. The broken metal is still inside the wood so needs drilling out with a professional drill.

Excellent customer service from a local supplier - from initial phone call through to installation, their service is brilliant. Very personal and helpful team. Our first playframe lasted over 10 years so delighted to go back for a follow up order. Highly recommend

I wanted to give the children an area to play in the garden, and I looked at several companies before chosing Caledonia Play. I can't fault this company at all. From my initial enquiry, right through, nothing was too much trouble, and they made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. The play equipment is better than expected and has been well used already.

Prompt courteous fitters, great product

Really terrible communication, have contacted them numerous times for a quote and they keep promising they would send it over and also return my call! if that's how they treat potential customers i dread to think of them for aftercare!

Friendly, efficient and clear processing of quoting and scheduling. Tradesmen who delivered, disassembled the old set, and installed the new we’re friendly, professional and did a superb job.

I purchased a triple swing set from Caledonia play in summer 2020. I was initially delighted but after one year a side brace split and they sent me a replacement part. Less than 2 years after ownership, the swing started swaying side to side and I noticed the top braces had split and discovered some bolts had also sheared making the swing set dangerous. I contacted Caledonia play for replacement parts but they have completely ignored all emails and a written letter and I am having to pursue this via legal route frustratingly. I would never buy from this company again

September 2022 update
Despite Caledonia play replying to this review asking me to get in touch, I have tried several times via email and post and have just been ignored. I am now having to escalate this which is very frustrating.

I purchased a triple swing frame with extension in May of this year. I was not happy with the number of splits in the timber, or with the timber surface which had a number of rough areas.
Timber is a natural product and will show splits, however the surface deterioration on this particular frame made me feel that it was not acceptable.
Caledonia play were excellent and provided a full refund and have arranged to uplift the old frame.
A customer friendly company who stand behind their products and their reputation.

Our Caledonia Play kit arrived today and was assembled. We are really pleased with it, it's sturdy, and well built. It looks like it will last for years. We ordered it expecting a 12 week delivery/install but were pleasantly surprised to be given a delivery date just two weeks later. Fantastic kit, great service, polite and efficient installers. It's not cheap - but that's the point - it's not cheap (or nasty) like so many others on the market.
