Cairn e-Adveneture 1.0 bike

Cairn e-Adveneture 1.0 bike.

The bike has done less than 3,000 miles and the Fazua drive is malfunctioning. It's always been a bit unreliable but now doesn't charge fully, and randomly reduces power or turns off, making it unrideable. No meaningful support from either Cairn or Fazua, the only option is to spend nearly £500 on a new battery. Seems lots of others having similar issues with Fazua... recommend stay well clear.

The bike itself is underwhelming as it lacks range. I'm a reasonably fit cyclist and it would manage 30-45 miles riding in SE England using the assist sparingly. It never really enabled the longer, faster commutes that I hoped it would. Very disappointing.
