Mind less Puppet councillors

Went to pay for car parking in Blackwood today to find that the Council had increased parking fees from 40p per hour to £1.10 for min 2hours. The high street is dead and yet the bunch of muppets on this council think that hiking car parking fees will attract visitors. Typical Labour Local Authority mindset. Why would anyone want to spend 2 hours in Blackwood there is nothing there?

Caerphilly has no leniency!

Caerphilly has no leniency!

In meetings - with councillors, residents ect - they say one thing that helps the people as a whole, or individually.
HOWEVER, once they return to their office - they get other people to then email or call to retract the good news!
0 accountability!!! two faced when there in person, then hide behind front line staff.

Omg don't let me start....

Omg don't let me start....
Such a lazy council I reported about the little in the town and the drains being blocked with dirt crass growing out of the drains bins over flowing with rubbish.
Said I travelled to 3rd world country's and they cleaner then our little city.
We have a castle and many tourists come to caerphilly what do these people think.
That's all they talk about is the cost.
They waste money paying off people 11 months at 14 thousand pounds a month on home leave and then 209 thousand pounds pay off to leave.
7.5 million on a roundabout and 5 million on 3 members of staff to leave.

Money grabbing corporation claiming to…

Money grabbing corporation claiming to be a local authority...
The leaders set their own wages and go on gardening leave when caught out, the councillors are a waste of time and money and the whole lot need removing, they cut services and increase costs to the payers instead of cutting the wages and bonuses of highest earners who are failing to perform their duties. This is nothing more than a corporate company forcing lies onto people and charging them for the privilege ... wake up and call them out on their lies they have no lawful authority to charge or fine people for anything and if they cut our services we should stop paying their wages and bonuses

Richard Evans Caerphilly Council

Credit where it’s due to Richard Evans, I believe he is known as Dickie. Every time I go to Caerphilly local amenities I find mr Evans very welcoming, clear and prides himself on keeping everything very well organised & running smoothly. I dropped my driving licence on 1 occasion & Mr Evans went above & beyond to make sure it was returned to me. Well done & thank you Mr Evans at Caerphilly County borough council

Shambles of a council

Shambles of a council. The streets are a mess, they’ve been acknowledging for 3 years there’s not enough parking spaces for the permits they sell, raw sewage pumping into the local playing field etc. And they do nothing about it except make you feel like they are being inconvenienced. On top of this they are one of few councils to raise council tax this year

Andrew lawford and son blackwood

Recently bought a house.
Grant work had previously been done by Andrew Lawford and Son of Blackwood.
What a cowboy.
I have a report on the work he's done.
Not fit for purpose.
Poor workmanship throughout.
Unsuitable materials used.
Wall left unsupported.
These are a few of the comments.
The council signed off and paid the grant.
They and Andrew lawford are claiming no responsibility.
Beware any grant work undertaken by this cowboy or signed off by this council as OK.
