I have had ordered a room 29/11 and came about 14:00 to check inn and unluckily I get serviced someone called George , by the way this is cabinn copenhagen near copenhagen
Central station, by the desk with George I had issue with my last name my order,it was my booking account last name , george raised his vioce that any body around 40 meter squire could hear it ,I was stable argumanting that it’s me ,show him my payment reference
He was rude not listening me ,I noticed when he was serving the person before me ,he was happy smiling ,but when I came to him it was on the contrary ,I do not mind hotel has policy
Or being declined but his approach on me was unprofessional

small but clean and had everything I needed

I was originally booked into a room with bunk beds but when checking in online at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to find I'd been upgraded to an apartment. Apartment is stretching it a bit... but I had a comfortable single bed, kettle, microwave, fridge, hairdryer, desk and plenty of sockets for my devices. They only clean the rooms every 7 days. I was there for 4 and had 2 sets of towels which were more than sufficient. I loved my small comfortable room and excellent value for money.

Terrible experience with overbooking and no support

I booked a room at CABINN.dk for 3 persons visiting me in Copenhagen (my cousin and 2 kids), I can provide confirmation number if needed. Upon arrival, the room was not available due to overbooking. When they tried to show us the room, there was already another guest sleeping there and we woke him up. So embarassing!

After I threatened to call the police, the only solution they offered was a room far from the city center (Orestad). I had to drive my friends there in the middle of the night—fortunately, I had a car as, at the time, I was a resident in Copenhagen. I cannot imagine what would have happened if they were tourists visiting the city by themselves, without any local assistance.

The next day, I had to wake up very early to solve the problem for my relatives, while they were still sleeping. I contacted Booking.com (the reservation was made via this website), and I was only able to find a proper solution thanks to them, which arranged an alternative stay at the Maritime Hotel in the city center. CABINN.dk did not provide any additional assistance or compensation.

This experience was extremely stressful and unacceptable. I cannot recommend CABINN.dk for anyone who needs reliable accommodation. Of course, I can document everything I wrote, the booking was for 14 June 2019.

Skægkræ/firebrats in cabinn copenhagen

We have now seen at least three firebrats, two in my room and one in my friends’ room. Since they typically hide and spread easily through buildings, we are concerned that this may indicate a broader infestation. We wanted to bring it to your attention because we’re also worried about bringing them home with us in our luggage. We hope this will be passed on to management and addressed with professional pest control.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Got a horrible squeaky bunk bed with a bad dip in the middle. Complained to staff at reception who were going to ask that other staff check the room. This was not done and when I wrote to the hotel and asked what happened, they claimed there was nothing wrong with the bed and also that they had never gotten the complaint. I have a witness to the condition of the bed - she slept in the other bunk bed in the room, which was ok - and also to reporting the bed to the reception but they do not care that she can confirm everything. Don’t stay at Cabinn, if something goes wrong you have no rights at all! Also we were awakened at 6 am by a fire drill forcing everyone out into the street, and I read in another review that it has happened before, supposedly because people smoke which is prohibited in the rooms. But people smoke in hotels a lot despite rules, and I’ve never gotten the fire drill experience before in a hotel, so they need to monitor that situation much better. Overall a horrible stay. STAY AWAY!

Excellent budget hotel in fabulous location

We stayed 4 nights at Cabinn City, Copenhagen and had an excellent experience. Staff were warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had a Queen Room and while it was small, it was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed with a desk and chair, shelves and hanging space and a kettle for tea & coffee, which was provided. Rooms are cleaned every 3rd day but you can request clean towels, toiletries, cups and tea/coffee at reception. The bathroom is a wet room pod, which we had no problem with as there is a shower curtain. The bed was comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good and plentiful. There is a comfortable lounge and although there isn't a bar, you can purchase drinks and snacks at reception. Staff will also help you book various trips and tours if required. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to Central Station and Tivoli Gardens (about ten minutes walk) and with a Netto convenience store and an excellent hot dog stall a couple of minutes walk away. The hop on hop off sightseeing buses stop at the nearby Marriott Hotel and there is a direct bus to the airport that stops very close by. A clean, comfortable, well-located budget hotel, offering excellent value for money!

Submarine not a cabin

The rooms are a rip off. They are not cabin rooms they are submarine rooms. For 2 people they are a disgrace. The shower area is really a shower with virtually a toilet in it.Good luck in placing two normal size suit cases in the room . The room must (???) have been designed by an accountant wanting to save money. Stay away from this place

Just got back from three nights at the cabbinn hotel around the corner from tivoli , room is small with two beds and a metal chair , tv and bathroom . But adequate, if I had to moan I would say it needs more places to put clothes especially in the bathroom , three tiny little clothes hooks which don't really work . Staff are great . No Ac but I'm not sure it's actually needed in Copenhagen . Overall CABINN was great and Copenhagen was fantastic , visit tivoli and hop on hop off bus , stunning city with great people

This is their DELUXE room:

This is their DELUXE room:

1) Bed steel frame with a 4cm thick matrass, prisoners in guantanamo has a better bed.

2) Room toilet is located inside the shower. But don't worrey, with a small curtain you can just mentally ignore the fact that their deluxe room actually have the toilet inside the shower area. Gross!!

3) We are 3 people (2 adults 1 child) in the DELUXE room, and we got a total of 1 commercial tiny plastic shampoo "rip to open" single-use shampoo sachet. But don't worrey, you can use just a tiny amount of shampoo and balsam so that everyone gets enough for their forehead!

4) The room is so tiny that in order to actually fit inside the room you would need to have a part in the movie "Downsizing" (2019) before booking. So don't worrey, do that first before booking to get a feeling of real DELUXE value.

5) You want to whipe yourself after using the cramped in toilet inside the shower area? Don't worrey, just book and attend a 10 day Yoga flexibility course before arrival. That way you might be able to reach the toilet paper holder that is located directly UNDER the sink(!). Oh, and did i mention you get the luxury of having the sink cramping you into the wall when sitting on the toilet? This way there is no need to worrey about falling off the seat.

Overall: If you are used to the standard of sleeping on the floor or concrete ground in your every day life, this DELUXE room is definetivley an upgrade worth your money! If you are used to taking a bath in the local pond, then this rooms sgower will make you feel like a king! Just bend over and you can use the toilet at the same time, and even brush your teeth afterwards using the sink as well while showering. This place lets you do all at once! :)

And did i mention? "We have car parking avaligable at the hotel" their commercial reads. They just forgot to put in the ad that it costs $45 for 1 night, so don't worrey, you get the complete feeling of being scammed on arrival, this way you hopefully are less likley to feel scammed about anything else during your trip compared to your stay at the CABINN COPENHAGEN.

Disappointing Experience

I recently stayed at Cabinn Copenhagen, and I’m left very frustrated by the handling of our booking issue. Despite having booked and paid for two rooms, the hotel only had one room registered, which caused unnecessary confusion. The staff member was polite, but I don’t understand why, when everything pointed to the second room being ours, we were left in a state of uncertainty.

Why wasn’t the issue acknowledged with, "There’s been a small problem, but don’t worry, we’ll fix it and your rooms will be ready when you return"? Instead, we were told to call Agoda ourselves to resolve it. As a guest, I shouldn’t have to take responsibility for contacting Agoda, especially when I had already explained that Agoda had asked us to send all our names for registration (which we had), and the hotel knew the problem was that the names for the second room hadn’t been passed on.

I can’t help but wonder if this was the hotel's assumed policy or if the staff member was just following instructions. Either way, the situation was handled poorly. This could have been dealt with proactively, but instead, we were left uncertain and unsupported. Being service-minded means clearing up these issues swiftly and reassuring your guests, not putting them in a position where they question if they will even have the second room when they return, especially when we showed proof of payment for both rooms being transferred.

Please choose any other hotel.

We stayed in Cabinn Metropol Kopenhagen.i have never seen such small rooms.i think the WC was only approximately 2qm.The Worst was that there were no free parking,in front of this giant hotel was space like 3-4 football-fields,a lot of free space and still the daily parking fee was over 20€. I tried to get a parking place close to the hotel. No chance. Than we parked in a space belonging to the hotel, which we thought was free, because there were no signs about the fee.
Next morning WE Got A PARKING - TICKET ABAOUT 910dk = 120€ !!
I have never seen such lack of respect and hospitality in such a giant hotel.
Never again cabinn Hotels.
And the price for the room was in August 130€ for one tiny room. NO!

Toenail clippings, long hair and dirty towels.

Honestly the worst customer service, and that coming from someone in the service industry.

Checked in on the 16th of August. Had 3 hours from checking until i had to host an event in the city. There was no keys card at the self check-in so we all had to wait around 10 minutes with no information what so ever, almost collapsing from heat stroke because they didn’t wanna turn on the air conditioning.
Got to my first (out of 3 rooms), to find toe nail clippings on the carpet, and a weird smell from the bathroom. Go down to the reception and had to pull a number to get in the queue. Waited 20 minutes to get offered that room service could just come vacuum and that then i could go in again. I politely declined and wanted a new room.

When i got to my new room, i put my stuff in and was long black hairs on the bedding (Could not be me, because i’m bald…)
Go down to the reception again, waited 25 minutes to get a “new” room again. This time i got a breakfast voucher for the luxury price of 90DKK🤣

Got to the “new” room, opened my suitcase and wanted to plug in my phone, only to discover that i’ve gotten my old room (now semi-vaccumed) back (A860) with the same toenail clippings now behind the nightstand instead. I am not queasy at all since i’ve worked 2,5 years in healthcare and seen everything. But to find a strangers toenails on my carpet is a NOGO.
Now im trying to take a shower, but this time there is no soap at all in the bathroom, so get dressed again, go down, wait 20 minutes to get some soap. Take a shower and grabbed a towel, dried myself off only to pull a long ginger hair out of my nether regions. Again, i’m bald and have black hair so…
During this entire circus i have had no excuse, no compensation (except a 90DKK voucher, that i can only use one time but since im staying 3 nights it’s basically useless). Not a single apology.

I would be real careful, i paid over 3000DKK for 3 nights for a room literally the same size as the economy room at Wake-up CPH. Never coming back if my life depends on it.

I stayed at the overpriced Hotel Cabinn…

I stayed at the overpriced Hotel Cabinn in Kopenhavn (Copenhagen). The staff were helpful and friendly but the computer system they are using is not user friendly. It took 20 minutes to check in due to the questionaire, and then I was told there was a further €20 fee for parking. I know from the past that Danmark is the most awkward and expensive country to get parking but I expected fee parking at the hotel which is the norm in most hotels. The next problem was the lifts that often did not work. They have an over-the-top security system that only allows you to use the lift with the room card. However, this often did not work. Not much fun walking up to the 4th floor. Breakfast not included in their expensive price.
