Left out of pocket since September for a settled car—absolute shambles
I am writing this review in utter frustration regarding agreement number 30926949
I fully settled and part-exchanged my vehicle, yet this company still illegally took an unauthorized Direct Debit from my account. When I claimed it back, their broken automated systems clashed with my bank, resulting in a double-reversal. This company successfully blocked the bank's refund, clawed back their own manual refund, and has left me completely out of pocket since 21st September.
The customer service is shockingly disorganized. I was promised an email update which never arrived. I then had to call them back just to force them to open the August and September bank statements I had already emailed over as proof.
You are holding my money with absolutely no legal right to do so. I have provided the exact proof your team requested. I expect a senior manager to look at my agreement file, review the statements I sent, and return my funds via a Faster Payment bank transfer immediately. If this is not resolved, I will be taking my case, along with my part-exchange documents, straight to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

I honestly can’t praise the lady I spoke to today enough. I had been really anxious about my missed payment and they rang me today. I spoke to Debbie, and from the moment I explained that I’d been signed off work recently and was going through a difficult time financially and personally, she was absolutely amazing.
She was so kind, compassionate and understanding. You could tell she genuinely took the time to listen to me, offered support and did everything she could to help with my situation.
Debbie made the financial side of things feel so much more manageable and stress free. I had been carrying so much anxiety about it, and by the end of the phone call I genuinely felt like a massive weight had been lifted off my shoulders.
It’s very rare that a customer service call leaves such an impression, but Debbie’s kindness genuinely made a difference to my day. She went above and beyond what I expected and treated me like an actual person rather than just another account or missed payment.
