Easy to use
The app is very easy to use for uploading items for rent. I have only rented one of my pieces and it was pretty easy.

I had a great experience
I had a great experience renting a dress for a wedding. The renter was extremely helpful, understanding and communicated fast. Some renters I tried to communicate with didn’t reply or were quite slow, so I would recommend messaging the renter before you go ahead. The process overall is more expensive as you have to pay for next day signed delivery and you also get charged for the cleaning fee etc. But overall it is worth it to wear an item you wouldn’t normally be able to afford, or don’t want to buy it to just wear once!

Allows theft of items and does nothing to recover
My item was rented and I provided signed for postage of the item, the item was received and signed for at the address given.
the renter then never returned the address and said it didn't arrive.
Byrotation essentially said sorry nothing we can do.

Terrible experience with this app
Terrible experience with this app. Joined the app - firstly there was an offer on to receive money off - applied directly at checkout, which didn't happen, so had to contact them to apply that. I then agreed with a lender for her to send on a Monday which she said she could - paid for the rental to start from the Tuesday, she said there may be postal delays, I said as long as I have by the Wednesday it's fine. Turns out she didn't actually post until the Tuesday, the day the rental was due to begin. The lender didn't respond when I asked if I needed to sign. I was out when it arrived so missed the delivery, and was going away the next day (which I'd already told the lender), so I only received the dress on the day I was due to return it. I didn't even open the package, just sent directly back from the post office. ByRotation are refusing to give me a refund because I'd said Wednesday worst case scenario was fine despite their T&Cs saying if a rental arrives after the start of the rental date you're entitled to a full refund. Plus they're taking sometimes 5 working days to even respond to me. Awful service all round.

I had such a great experience renting with By Rotation! The selection of dresses was amazing, and I loved being able to find unique pieces for special occasions without having to buy something new.
