After being a long time user with the .com version, the .eu platform is like an elaborate downgrade. For now it's no point using this site, at least not for trading...

This is an example of the draconian EU policy targeting peoples economic freedom.

Poor EU offering

Poor EU offering. No point in trading in the platform, very few pairs and no futures in my region. I will be using Binance for futures and Pionex for Spot USDT pairs. Support is also lacking.

Since the forced migration to Bybit EU

Since the forced migration to Bybit EU, everything has turned into a nightmare. What used to work smoothly on Bybit NL is now completely ruined. I’ve been struggling for 3 days just to transfer my coins, go through KYC again, and set everything up.

And now? I get an error when trying to withdraw my money: “Risk control measures – withdrawal unavailable.” Even though my account is fully verified, I still cannot access my own funds. 🤯

It feels like being locked out of your own money. This is unacceptable.

Bybit EU is unreliable and completely user-unfriendly.
My advice: avoid this platform at all costs! Choose another exchange that is actually transparent and lets you withdraw your funds.

Bybit.eu promotions and cashback 20% = scam

Promotion "casback 20%" is absolute scam.

Firstly you won't receive cashback but points wchich you can use to buy things in shop, but you need to have at least 4400 points, so you have to spend about 60-70 euro in categories wchich this cashback is eligible.

Secondly i only receive 20% cashback points for 1 transacation but i made later 2 more transactions to the same merchant but i didn't receive 20% cashback points for them. I wrote to support few days ago but as always they doesn't reply

I should receive 10 euro for total card transactions for more than 100 euro and i didn't receive it too.

Currently something like chat support or mail support doesn't exist in bybit.eu (you can wait all day for consultant to reply no one will)

Stay away from this "exchange". Verification themself are trash there for every transaction, they have scam promotions and support doesn't exist.

I used bybit.com for long time and this bybit.eu is some temu version of bybit.com. I don't belive that it is the same company

First time I type a review.

First time I type a review.

I feel scammed and betrayed. — for example, I tried using 10x leverage but nothing went through, it only showed as borrowing. This makes me feel like I’m being scammed by Bybit, since I’ve seen others on YouTube complete trades instantly without these issues.

I tried with no leverage as well multiple times only get money to pay no order or pendling Bybit Eu. For borrowing or I only buy like I can do all other exchanges or wallet. But and hold its not trading side anymore.

Regulation has destroyed ByBit.

Withdrawing is incredibly hard to do. They manually verify your withdrawal according to Travel Rules. After 24 hours they then say Verification Failed and dont offer much reasons why. You need provide information about the address you are withdrawing to which often is not possible. You need to connect the wallet you are withdrawing to to verify you own it. If someone else owns the wallet you are fcked!

EU Regulation destroys everything. ByBit has been amazing service for the past years, but I am leaving for something unregulated now. (which sounds incredibly stupid and funny)

Never move onto EU version

I strongly recommend using the Global version and never the EU version. The difference is like heaven and hell. The EU version is absolutely terrible, and its customer service is the worst among all the exchanges I’ve ever used.

I am a Latvian citizen (EU) currently residing in Finland. I attempted several times to register on Bybit.eu using my valid Latvian passport. Every single KYC verification attempt was rejected without a proper reason or explanation.

This is unacceptable and feels like discrimination against EU citizens. Bybit.eu advertises itself as a European platform, yet it clearly fails to comply with the basic principle of equal access for EU residents.

I have never faced such issues on other licensed European exchanges — I was able to complete KYC smoothly with the exact same documents. Bybit, on the other hand, wasted my time and left me with a very negative impression.

If Bybit cannot support EU citizens fairly, then they should stop promoting themselves as a European platform. Right now, this feels misleading and untrustworthy.

Update: After multiple failed attempts, I finally received a notification that my documents were successfully verified. My account has now been approved, and I was able to register on Bybit.eu without further issues.

I am writing to you again regarding my account. This is the fifth automated reminder email I have received, despite having already submitted all required documents twice.

These repeated automated responses, despite my full cooperation, constitute an unacceptable delay and a failure to meet your regulatory obligations for timely customer due diligence.

Due to this, I am officially notifying you that I have filed a formal complaint with the Austrian financial regulator, the FMA (Financial Market Authority).

However the correct procedure is to submit a new crypto withdrawal request and, in order to approve it, a video verification is needed. If your video is higher than 25 MB you can upload it in a Google Drive folder and share the access to "anyone with the link". Then you can open a new ticket and share the Google Drive link with our Customer Support.
