Priced right, paid promptly
I believe that I was given a fair quotation for the device I traded in. Once my macbook arrived at BuyBackTronics, they promptly provided a quote in under 24-hours as that was the selection I chose. I got my e-check, cashed it, and everything was smooth. The process took less than a week and it probably would have been faster if I didn't mail over the weekend. Prompt communicative, fair, and efficient!
Buyback Electronics does exactly what they say they'll do when they say they'll do it. The prices I've received for the products I've sent them have been more than fair---and in one case better than I expected. They communicate very well at all stages of the transaction, and make the shipping process extremely easy. I wish these folks worked at the power company, and the car dealership!

My iPhone was downgraded quite a bit, and I received less than half of what I had originally brokered for my trade in. On the flipside, at least I got a few bucks ... it's better than nothin'!

Might not get the money you think you will
Service offers several conditions on their website but what they consider your items condition and what you consider it are not always the same. Just be prepared to receive a counter offer significantly lower than what you are expecting.
Better of seeling the item on your own (ebay, facebook marketplace etc) than to use this service. They are responsive but dont actually offer the numbers they claim to.

At checkout, your Galaxy Tab was submitted in “Flawless” condition. During inspection, our evaluation team documented excessive scratches on both the display and the body/bezel. These findings were shared with you in the evaluation notes.
After you disputed the assessment, the trade-in was escalated to a supervisor for a second review. The supervisor independently confirmed the same condition findings and provided photo documentation to support the adjustment. I personally reviewed the images that were shared with you and agree with the final assessment. Based on the level of wear observed, the device was accurately regraded to “Fair” in line with our published grading guidelines.
I must stress that our goal is always to honor the original quote when devices are described accurately - that is the entire essence of our service and the reason we provide instant quotes upfront. However, accurate condition selection from the outset is essential. We evaluate both cosmetic and functional aspects of every device, and our grading standards are applied consistently. Our grading guidelines are published to create clarity and consistency, helping ensure the experience is straightforward and free of surprises for both parties.
As outlined in our process, amended offers are completely obligation free. Since we were unable to reach an agreement regarding condition, your device was processed for return as requested.
