Loved the classes

Loved the classes - the flexibility and variety was great. Instructors were amazing and I loved that everyone else had a baby so there was no pressure if you were running late or needed to feed or the baby was fussy etc. So sad to have to finish my busylizzy time with my Mat leave finishing but thoroughly recommend to anyone who is looking to keep fit, make friends or just get out of the house!

Constant spamming once you leave

Classes could be better. Very expensive and timings not great.
The worst thing is once you cancel you're constantly spammed! Even after requesting to be removed from the mailing list on more than one occasion. Still getting emails and text messages.

All about money

Classes were nice.
However, I had to stop due to complications with my pregnancy and after doctor's advice. I emailed to cancel my subscription, explaning the reason. Regardless that I explained that my doctor advised me to do so, I was still charged as they requested 1 month's notice. During these difficult days, you guys should have been more humane. £36 for some of us is a very significant amount. Hope you feel richer now.

I joined at 25weeks pregnant and got hooked on doing all of the classes and was doing them right up until my baby arrived. The instructors were all amazing and were very informative about ways to help ease different pregnancy pains, as well as making the classes more personal if you joined the zoom, which I highly recommend. I can't wait to start the classes again with my baby once I have the go ahead

I found the classes online in August

I found the classes online in August, honestly I didn’t enjoy the first session as much and also there was not a great variety of lessons that I could join as a pregnant person. I wanted to do yoga lessons but there were not as many session during the week. What frustrated me the most is that I could not find on their app where to cancel the membership so had to email them. I canceled the membership straight away once I knew how to do it at the start of September. However, I looked at my bank statement and they still charged me in October. I emailed the team and they stated that I have to give them a month notice. I attended only one session in total and paid for 3 months. When I emailed them requesting a refund, they just ignored me and did not provide the refund.

I bought a voucher for my partner at Christmas 2021 when she was pregnant with our first baby. I was intending for her to use the Epsom classes but Patricia has since found out that the Epsom group has closed. She has been offered to go to Kingston but the location is not easily accessible for her. She has also been offered to do online classes, but she chose BusyLizzy so that she could meet other Mums and lack of space at home means that it isn’t convenient to do classes there.
We have asked for a refund as the service we bought is no longer available ( club in Epsom is closed) they have refused.
It is shocking ! We bought something they don’t offer anymore and it is no refundable.

I joined Bizzy Lizzy online in April…

I joined Bizzy Lizzy online in April 2020 just as the first lockdown began and they have been absolutely brilliant. The variety of the classes means you get excellent value for money as they offer everything from exercise classes like aerobics and bootcamp to baby classes like baby signing and baby music. The classes kept us going throughout lockdown and I have enjoyed them so much I kept my membership even as these began to lift. The classes are really inclusive with options to ensure they are suitable no matter your post labour situation. I also like that you can access past classes at all times so you can repeat and do them in your own time. Also my husband really enjoyed the baby signing class! I highly recommend Bizzy Lizzy and thank the team for delivering such a high quality programme.

I found this group by chance on a quick google search for ‘online baby yoga’. I absolutely struck gold with this because there are so many classes. I do something everyday! My favourite groups are baby music because it just makes my little boy smile so much and I love doing the post natal workouts too. I honestly feel like this group has helped me with grieving for my lost maternity leave. This membership is the best money I’ve spent in Lockdown.

Misleading terminology. Questionable business practices.

When you see the word trial, you might expect it to be an actual trial. It’s not. You still have to pay, and if you decide to cancel, your account is closed immediately. Even though you’ve paid for a month, they close it straight away.

As far as business practices go, it’s not the way a legitimate outfit handles things. Most subscription services out there will let you use the remaining period that you’ve paid for, should you choose not to renew.

They use words like trial to lure in unsuspecting parents, and then shaft them with the fine print. If you want to cancel, you even need to make sure you do so 5 days prior to the billing date. So not only do you need to give a months notice after that first 14 days, you also lose that last 5 days because of their immediate termination policy. Even though you’ve paid for it.

Legally, it’s very sketchy ground. I’m not convinced it’s even binding, and you could probably get your money back if you complained to the appropriate authority.

Other services exist, and as shown by our experience there’s a clear market for this sort of thing where it’s not being run by someone who is purely interested in shafting parents from a financial perspective and then hiding behind their obscure policies.

Make sure you read all of their terms before making the poor decision to subscribe. Save yourself the hassle and use Meet-up or something instead.

Could end up paying for longer than you bargained for

I had only wanted to try for 1 month during lock down and perhaps return later this year. Hadn't registered as a direct debit on my account so was surprised to see a second payment come out. Even more disheartened to see owing to 1 month notice a third payment will be taken. Now reconsidering joining again when lockdown ends

Discriminatory to hard working class families

Discriminatory to families on a low income who can't afford £60 a month which is 10% of statutory maternity pay each month roughly.

I would like to see more pay as you go or cheaper £15 a month for 2 class credits on offer to make it a more diverse and open these classes to the hard working class instead of keeping these classes available to those who can afford them! My little 2 month old is missing out because we simply cannot justify/afford £60 a month on these classes.
