Took a while but that was to be expected! I ordered 3 budsies super sized specialty commissions and received the first within three months. Waiting on the last two.

We paid extra for an advance preview of the design but did not receive any preview or updates. This was very disappointing for my son. The completed item took over two months to deliver, despite this being a Christmas gift, and it has still not been received. We are extremely dissatisfied with the service.

An amazing selfie doll was created of my husband, father of two boys! The kids are overjoyed with their doll. They love the detail that was put into it, the watch, the Blackhawks Jersey, the jeans and Vans shoes. The only small thing the doll is missing is a pair of glasses, since my husband wore them. But that's okay. We are so happy with this and I hope it brings my boys comfort any time they need it.

Sizing issues
** UPDATE **
After rereading my review I felt my original review was too harsh, I guess when ordering from Budsies you have to expect that the nature of plush will mean it will never be 1:1 nor do they advertise it will be. In my case all my plushies I've received from them look like they've genuinely jumped off the page into real life (Chester, Dylan Plush are the ones which look the most 1:1).
I wanted to also affirm that Budsies have repeatedly always tried to make things right with me including with my final latest plush order.
** ORIGINAL **
I'm a bit disappointed by the size of my latest plush.
I ordered a 30 inch one however after measuring its size was only slightly bigger than my 16 inch plushies I got made by Budsies. The plushie also feels extremely firm to hug it seems overstuffed. Otherwise the quality of all the other 6 plushies I've received have been outstanding every single time. Might just be the design however!
I would still recommend budsies to anyone looking to get their plush made!! :)

My Experience with Budsies
I had commissioned budsies to make a plush of my oc a little bit ago, and for the most part it turned out pretty accurate. The hair is a little off, some hoodie things arent rlly accurate and the proportions are decent but the legs are a bit stubby, for the most part it was pretty good so 7/10

Budsies did a really good job bringing…
Budsies did a really good job bringing my son’s drawing to life. The plush looks very close to the original picture he drew, which was the most important thing to us. They were also very kind and communicative throughout the process. They reached out to confirm color choices, and I trusted their judgment on what would look best, which I appreciated.
There were a few minor issues that made the plush feel slightly unfinished, or possibly intentionally left that way. The hat is very floppy since there is no stuffing inside, and it is only stitched in four sections, leaving openings where fingers can easily go inside the hat. Another point is the star globe staff. Budsies did notify me ahead of time that it would be considered an accessory and required an additional $22 charge, which I agreed to and paid. However, the final result of the staff was a bit disappointing. It is very flimsy and does not hold up like a staff should.
I did purchase the sneak preview and approved the final design, not realizing how noticeable some of these small details would be in person, especially how flimsy the staff is. That said, overall, I am still happy with the finished look of the plush despite these issues.
Most importantly, my kiddo is happy with it too, though he also noticed and was a bit annoyed by the same points. Overall, it’s a lovely keepsake with great effort put into matching the artwork, just with a few details that could be improved.
