Unprofessional and Archaic
I purchased the ticket slightly less expensive than Porter…I entered my name as usual. However, Budgetair messed up my names putting my last name as my first name. I was at the check in counter and I had to call Budget to fix the name. The agent said that they can’t do anything for less than 48 hours….This is ridiculous and unprofessional! Budgetair messed up my name and did not fix it! Finally Porter agent had to fix it and it took 10 minutes…Not 2 days!!

JUST DON'T HAVE ANY COMPLICATION TO SORT THROUGH THEM
My experience with BudgetAir.com had been a pleasant one until the last. I booked a return flight from Saskatoon to Calgary. It was a basic ticket for a short flight. Less than 30 minutes after booking and with the ticket not issued, I needed to adjust my dates. That was where I got a shocker! It can only be cancelled and I have to pay the sum of $110 for each leg of the trip totalling $220 and still forfeit my fare!! How logical is that for a flight that is yet confirmed or ticket issued!! What dumb options given to me. Is it not better not even go to the Airport for the flight?
Before now, BudgetAir could have gotten a 4 star rating but with that experience, I can only rate them 2 star and the 2 star is on my previous non-complicated flight. This is the first time I have a minor complication and I am getting this as an offer!!!
If clients can solve complications with you, of what essence is the services you are providing because complications will always come. If I am asked to make payment for rescheduling of a flight that is yet confirmed or ticket issued, I would understand but to pay to cancel the legs of the same return flight and still lose my total fare is what I can't fathom till date.

think twice before booking with budget air
Highly recommended to not book with budget air to save little amount of money by friends. I did anyways and regret not listening now. Paid for insurance on flight premiumplus package and was denied everything these ad ons stated. Check reviews before booking with budget air.

Is it possible to give zero stars? Do not use budget air! They claimed my flight was canceled, though I would have been able to book a ticket on this “canceled” flight directly from the airline. They canceled my reservation because they realized they could sell it to somebody else for a higher price. They claimed that the alternate flight that they booked for me was also canceled and that there were no alternate flights for my, now, missed connection. In fact, there were other flights that I could’ve booked directly with the airline. When I asked them about it, they said that these flights were not available to them. I repeat: DO NOT USE BUDGETAIR.

Scam: connection through Mexico
Budget Air sold ticket with transit through Mexico, without informing traveller that visa is necessary and can’t be obtained online, but only with appointment in embassy.
Of course it was impossible to board the flight and I did not get a refund.
This is such a scam.

My wife made a mistake in the selection…
My wife made a mistake in the selection of the date for the flight. We were told we couldn’t change the flight and to cancel the flight would cost $105/flight, which is ridiculous. We will NEVER book with your organization again.

Forced insurance.
I didn't click anything about insurance but insurance was added to final total. Cost of said insurance was 50% booking cost. I immediately contacted them saying I do not want need or chose any insurance and they say it's in refundable. Literally book with any other company this is a joke.
