On numerous occasions I have sat in the car park outside Bruce’s Radlett on my lunch break and there have been multiple dogs locked in a van crying their hearts out. It’s absolutely heartbreaking.
Even when they are in the daycare all you can hear is crying. I’ve read replies from Bruce’s on here and it’s just excuses. So pleased they are finally being exposed as I’ve been making complaints for years!
Magnus always comes back happy and really sleeps well the night after he has been! He also is forming a very nice bond with Amy his driver.
I find that the staff look after my dog very, if there are any problems I am immediately contacted to it.

We have been Bruce's Ditchling customers since they opened and love the service we received from them. Both dogs come home exhausted and happy. Often still a bit muddy, but that's to be expected with dog ownership!
The last year has clearly been challenging for the team and we have seen huge improvements in communication and information sharing which has been appreciated. Thank you to the team for keeping our dogs happy.

From the initial taster session, my little Parson, Tuppence, shows every sign of loving her time at Bruce's. The care given by Abi, her 'chauffeur', to Sam (with Holly) in the puppy group to her graduation to playtime has been fantastic. She's a sociable little soul and I'm sure this has been nurtured whilst at daycare. Formal trainers may repel in horror at the thought of daycare but I know what makes my girl a well-rounded dog. She returns in the afternoon happy, contented and nicely tired.....thank you.

My dog absolutely loves his days at Bruce's. He rushes through the gate always excited & keen to have fun. The staff are so friendly & helpful. They even organised for my dog to be collected and looked after whilst I struggled to get home from London due to the trains.

This is my THIRD review after the first two were both removed by Bruce’s (so would take these reviews with a pinch of salt as so many are deleted!). We had very negatives experiences and regret sending our dog there. Conditions were not as advertised either.

My two little shih tzus, Millie & Sid have been going to Bruces since they were puppies. They get so excited to head off for their day of fun at Bruces Surrey Hills. The mere mention of their much loved driver Izzy, has both of them racing to the door to wait for her arrival. They absolutely love her and she takes such good care of them. When they get home they are absolutely shattered and curl up to sleep after their fun filled day.
I love seeing the photos of what they've been up, clearly having lots of fun and being well cared for by the team. It's great to know that whilst I'm at work, my dogs are having fun and being well looked after by a team who genuinely love dogs!

Both my dogs love going to Bruce’s, Bertie has been going since a puppy, he’s now 5, still loves it, waits at the window for his driver,( Izzy Potter), who I think he loves more than me lol, love the fact the dogs come home eat dinner and collapse very happy doggies.

Shocking customer service. Bruce’s say they offer “all day” care. In reality it is 8-3pm. Sent communications about cessation of service 15th Jan saying “rest assured we are committed to offering service until 27th Feb”. Today (3rd Feb) said they would in fact not be living up to that written commitment and are ending their service on 6th Feb: Just 3 days notice. Purport to care about dogs. Their actions speak louder than their words. Be warned,

For over six years my dog attended Bruce's Country Hills, including its predecessor, Buddies Doggy Daycare. Buddies was a very well run service, operated by people who clearly loved their job and loved the animals they cared for. Bruce's acquisition of Buddies has been a complete disaster. The company seems only to care about profits, and has shown a complete disregard for its employees and those who use the service. Since the acquisition, staff has seemed progressively unhappy, service standards have become progressively worse (shorter days at the centre, dogs apparently not washed, etc). It was not too much of a surprise when, on 15th January, I received an email to tell me that Bruce's Country Hills was closing. I had wanted to change service for some time, unhappy with the service, and concerned about the care my dog was receiving, but I had put it off - partly because of the inconvenience of changing, and partly because of the staff who relied on Bruce's for their job. This email made the decision for me. In the email, I was told "After careful consideration, we have made the decision to close our Bruce's Country Hills day care centre, with our final day of service being 27th February 2026." It went on to say "Please be reassured that our full, normal service will continue right up until 27th February 2026, and our team remains completely committed to providing the same love and care your dogs enjoy every day." Since then, I received no communication (no calls to express their apology, nothing in a letter, no check that I had actually received their email) until this afternoon, on 3rd February 2026, when I was told "As a result of this business restructure, we can no longer provide daycare services at your location from 6th February 2026" and went on to say "We have explored every possible option to continue the service, but the unique pressures of operating during this time, means we can no longer collect [dog's name], meaning their last day with us, will be this Friday 6th February". To give just three days notice, and to leave customers in the lurch like this is just the type of unprofessionalism I have come to expect from Bruce's. I have been a loyal customer for over six years, having kept my dog with the service through Covid, but it seems all this company cares about is profit. I strongly urge you not to entrust your dog to this company. They might reassure you, but these reassurances cannot be relied upon - there seems to be very limited ethical concern. I hope the employees find new, more rewarding jobs, quickly, but this company should not be in business.
