Winston and Sharon handled my case against an estate agent and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better. They were professional and compassionate throughout.

I had an excellent experience with Mr Winston Brown who took on my case within 48 hours of a court hearing to apply to suspend a repossession order. He was extremely professional and thorough. I didn't feel judged by him and felt comfortable to share my situation and was well supported. He arrived at the court earlier and liaised with the barrister representing the claimant. He managed the case well with the judge and against all odds, we ultimately got the result I was hoping for. I am extremely grateful and would highlight recommend the service.

Brilliant Law Firm. The services they offered was excellent. It's a well organised Law Firm. The lawyers in the firm are very experienced legal experts. The firm did a very good job for me and in the end I was very pleased with their professional expertise.

I had a really positive experience working with this firm. They were diligent throughout, clear from the outset about pricing, and very transparent about what they needed from me at each stage. Communication was excellent, both proactive and responsive, which made a stressful situation much easier to manage. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for professional and reliable legal support.

Horrible service. This is not a legit Solicitors firm. Winston and team will take your money upfront and are happy to hold on to them without any services provided. How on earth this place is still in business is beyond me.

I suspect that most of the positive reviews on this are fake. Stay away !

I’ve never been in a position in all my working career to feel I needed to hire a solicitor to help me get justice in the workplace, I was muddling along by myself using the ethics guidance for grievances but got to a point I just couldn’t see the wood for the trees. Enter Winston Brown. He looked at all the evidence I had gathered and advised me how to proceed. He provided professional and accurate letters to my employers at crucial times, and kept me moving forward. He responded to every text message, phone call and email in a timely manner. I really had very bad experience with this company. They took my money in a day and don’t work. Things delayed and caused a lot more stress. When you ask your money back, they said within 28 days. Keep you waiting . There is regulation body for solicitors of course. But the stress they caused is terrible.

We are glad that we chose Lucy for our new build purchase. From the start, she took every effort to protect our best interests against a challenging developer, Cala Homes, who was constantly pushing for more.

On the day of completion, when the developer tried to withhold our keys, saying their only salesperson on site was sick, Lucy provided excellent advice on how to escalate the issue and got the issue resolved instantly. She was patient, and always went the extra mile. We can't recommend her enough!

So far, so good.
I had already obtained an interim charging order (without any legal assistance) for my case but needed to register the charging order with the land registry as a matter of urgency!
I can't quite remember how I came about Brown & Co. I think I did a broad search for legal help in property on the Friday evening and Winston responded quickly. The following day he rang me to discuss and within around 6 hours the application had been put forward! There is now a pending application in place ready for the land registry to do their bit. This was all done on a Saturday!
I've had to sign a lot of documents and I always proof read stuff before signing - naturally everyone should of course - and although there were a few typos to amend before I could sign, I am still super impressed by his service so far.

This is just the start of what I've paid for (filing of applications and representation in court in due course). There is still work to be done so my review here isn't yet final, but my current impression is very good. I feel a lot calmer about my situation knowing that it's now getting sorted. Continuing to do it myself would have taken a lot lot longer and I just don't have time on my side. So from me, so far, it's a huge thank you!

I contracted Brown & Co. to handle a lease extension of my 1 bedroom flat in London.

At first, they gave a good impression and was easy to work with. They submitted the Section 42 Notice to the council and I felt comfortable to pay all my fees upfront. The service went terribly downhill from here. No regular updates were provided and every time I called I was put to voicemail and never heard back. My emails were for the most part ignored and I started to doubt that the lease extension would ever complete. Brown & Co. kept changing staff on a regular basis and I experienced unprofessional behavior from several of the team members.

I am ok to give this firm 2 stars as the lease extension was eventually completed. Brown & Co. was competitive on price and some of the issues we encountered were caused by the Council.

Overall, it was a very Frustrating Experience and I will not use them again.

Very good solicitors, not like any others we have used in the past. They are always quick to answer all queries and chase up on any information required.
