Not the Best

Two-night stay booked - one night used.

The uncertainty about where to park was an issue on arrival. The entrance to the hotel sits in a guddle of businesses, street parking and other urban furniture. Fine if you know the place, confusing otherwise.

The issue causing this stay to be cut short was discovering there were no lifts in the hotel and the bedrooms were up two flights of stairs on the second storey. The website the stay was booked through did not make this clear and I'd assumed that - in this day and age - ALL hotels would be fully accessible. This lack of prior information is not on the hotel itself (they do say there is no lift on their own website - in the FAQ section, not the front page) but the booking website used. I didn't think to check something that basic - why would a hotel not have a lift in 2026?

The four sets of stairs were *extremely* difficult for someone with dodgy hips, carrying luggage or merely going about their business. No porter and no assistance. The stairs caused pain issues that led to abandoning the stay early. This hotel may not be entirely suitable for someone with minor mobility issues. It will be useless to you if you have knackered knees or are a wheelchair user.

If you can manage your luggage and two flights of stairs, you're grand. If not, look for another hotel that is more inclusive and welcoming to all.
