Hostile and rude responses via email, no working phone number. Had to chase a refund for 2 months. I have recommended this company to several of my clients but that will stop immediately. I will never use them again. Products are well made and durable, but their customer service is poor.

Bad like everyone else says. Sell items they don’t have in stock, don’t deliver on time and then claim you paid for a different service, mark dispatched when it’s not dispatched.
I was TRYING to order from this company…
I was TRYING to order from this company however alarm bells began ringing when they neither answered the phone or replied to my emails.
Further alarm bells rang when the ONLY protected way to purchase from this company was to go through Paypal, and it looks like their paypal account has been stopped. I presume, reading the reviews that this is due to Paypal having to refund on orders placed with this company that they have not acknowledged or presumable honoured.
I WOULD NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY. I feel like I have had a lucky escape as I was about to place a £1200 order! Do NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY. Use countrystoredirect.com and pecheur.com for dog training devices such as sportdog instead. Excellent customer service and highly recommended by all.

Just awful company. They try to take the law to the limit and take advantage of people's ignorance.
I returned an item, the law gives them 14 *days* to refund. This is obviously to allow to payment runs, admin, etc, *not* to push refunds to the the day day allowed. That is not the spirit of the law and it is appalling customer service.
On top of that, they appear to not read very well, as they pushed my refund by 14 *working* days, which is obviously illegal.
The also at first didn't refund postage, whether that is again ignorance or they are just chancing it hoping people don't know the rules, I don't know.
Stay well clear of this company.

Now in the hands of PayPal. Apparently they have passed to PayPal a Royal Mail tracking number 🤣. What a joke. Royal Mail ‘update will only be provided when we attempt to deliver your item’. Tells me nothing about the status of my order.
I have repeatedly tried to contact this company to discuss. They are none contactable.

This company does not like paying out on refunds i asked for a refund couldn’t get one luckily purchased with PayPal had to go to resolution centre and PayPal had to consider my claim resulting in being favoured to me this took about 2 months to resolve . Will not be using this company again . Far better to use Amazon with their instant no quibble refund policy

Still waiting a response/refund,ignoring my emails and still have my item I bought of them and returned for a refund they promised,not even offered to return it back to me! Very bad customer service!
British Dog, you saved my sanity
My car was stolen two nights ago along with my most valuable possession = My dog training collar that makes my life with my dog stress free so ordered another from British Dog yesterday morning and it arrived today, British Dog you have saved me from a weekend of shouting at my little so and so and getting abuse from other dog owners when their dogs are jumped on.
AVOID IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY AND TIME
Very sad to leaving such a negative review but left with very little choice. Ordered a bundle of collars. No confirmation email. No response to subsequent attempts to contact them other than one copy & paste response from Roger, their corporate account manager. He has not replied to my reply.
Have raised a dispute through my bank in order to cancel the transaction. Again, very sad to be leaving such a negative review but with absolutely ZERO response to calls or emails I am left with little choice.
I hope they see this and finally reply. Would love to leave 5stars and get what I paid for. For now? Avoid and keep your money safe.
Best £100 I have ever spent.
My dog trainer person is lovely but after weekly sessions over 6 months my dog was not much better and I needed to stop him ignoring me in public, running around barking at every thing so I contacted British Dog and received a really detailed plan of action using an e-collar. I bought the one recommended by Marcus with the tiny receiver collar because my dog is only 9kg and after just 3 weeks I have an amazing dog. He stops barking on commands and comes when called, cannot believe the difference, genuinely it has changed my everyday life and now I do not hate taking my dog out. Best £100 I have ever spent.

Emailed for advice and got clear help to cure my dogs problem which worked. This is the third time I have bought from British Dog and I would use them again
Faulty product, very poor service
Ordered a training collar which was unfortunately extremely inconsistent. I followed the instructions exactly. The collar kept flashing red and didn't work, even when charged. The dog only responded to the "0" vibration setting, nothing higher, which would have been fine except even that worked only half the time. Returned it only to be argued with, and told about all of the annoying customers who were ordering 'willly nilly'. Waited 3 weeks, then took it up with my bank but in the meantime I have just been given a refund of £60, not the purchase price of £100. No explanation. Won't return my emails.

Dogtrace x20, Hi I recently bought Dogtrace x20 tracking, extremely accurate set up, very easy to use.. Basic set up compared to other devices, no maps but arrows and distance is spot on... charging time is very low on both collar and receiver.. British dog company very helpful and pleasant to deal with.. 5 stars.... highly recommend... Happy Irish Hunter..

Purchased 1600m tracker in February 2019 within a month the aerial has worked loose Even having tightened daily eventually lost Spoke to gentleman from British dog as assumed it cover would be replaced under warranty oh no this is my fault Gentleman rude not not at all interested Would not recommend this product as there is no after customer care
