Disrespectful towards women & unsafe for women

I'm a local, have been to this place several times. Every-time I go in alone during the live music nights which are great, waiting for friends, the male clientele, including staff and some musicians think they can either come too close or take over your seat once you go to the toilet.

Even if you have your jacket, umbrella, book clearly at the seat and table, it will be moved away and your seat taken. Never leave your drink, there have been occasions of spiking, I and women always take our drinks with us to the toilet.

If you are alone or look to be alone as a female, guys (including band members and staff) assume you are fair game to be pushed around. Security outside are not displaying the blue SIA badge they're supposed to wear by law. Got into an argument with the security guy and a staff who claims to be the owner, both were dismissive of my concerns from guys' behaviour inside and no blue SIA badge on display which is law that it must be visible on the jacket or arm of the security guard. They were just dismissive.

Issues of spiking drinks is common knowledge, even some men hold their hands over their glasses while watching the band. But this place is not safe for women in particular.

Not one night I went there I felt respected or safe. The sheer disrespect for women is not only concerning, but will lose them business in the long term. The band is great, fantastic music, but not a safe place for women. Spend your money where women are treated with respect.
