All the people we dealt with from Bournes were very professional and highly customer-centric - we really felt that the people we worked with cared for our belongings and were invested in our move being a success.

I cannot fault this team and the service. They were extremely efficient and lovely to have around the house. The team took great care with our belongings and made sure everything was as we wanted it before leaving. It was a really great experience start to finish. I am also hugely impressed with the box collection service, what a bonus!

Excellent service. Arrived on time, each man introduced himself and took time to walk through property to understand requirements in each room. Worked efficiently and took care to protect items for transit. Would definitely use again without question. Extremely highly recommended!

A two stage move with our belongings held in storage for over a month. Only one minor breakage (a small dropped dish that was immediately brought to our attention) - the removal guys were friendly and consciencious throughout with good communication from Bournes. I was very happy that they do not subcontract and instead turn work away if they are too busy.

Why a dropped star - well we have been left with a mountain of carboard and packing materials which will take an age to dispose of - even with trips to the dump.

Also I was not convinced with the cost/benefit of the general insurance offering (check this yourself but in the end we decided to take the risk). However - that said we are glad that Bournes highlighted the risk of other parties changing the required date in a move and we are glad we insured against this - even though we had been led to believe the completion date was set in stone for the other parties in our small chain - it turned out that it wasn't.

The lead up to the removal went very smoothly indeed and Bournes were very cost effective with their pricing and the people who moved us on the day were efficient and functional

The Team were excellent, Jamie, Able, Arron and Dan just got on with everything, and were polite, very helpful and patient. Nothing was too much trouble, including any request to move furniture around if it didn’t seem to go in the first place we requested it to be positioned.

I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Bournes/Robinson’s, and hope to be able to call on your good services when we next move!!

Friendly and polite packers and movers and they were very careful with all the stuff. Went beyond what was expected. Communication about pick up, paperwork, and drop off was spot on.

Everything was excellent from the gentleman who came initially to Julia in the office who was always kind and helpful. Then all of the removal men were absolutely great nothing too much trouble. Polite professional and kind. On the Monday the 2 guys were so calm and methodical they never rushed us.

Were generally competitive in price terms (one other was a fair bit cheaper but I wasn't comfortable with their approach so preferred to pay more). Moving to Italy - my family and I made the leap from the UK to Italy three years ago. We kept our belongings in storage and had them delivered this year. There's always a concern that things may go missing, get damaged or mouldy. None of this was the case.

Being re-united with our belongings after such a time was a little emotional, time passes, things change in an instant in life. So there were memories. They guys who delivered everything were happy, smiling, helpful and considerate.

From Bournes in the UK to their Italian colleagues the whole experience was exceptional. There were a couple of inevitable challenges, that were dealt with professionally and with clarity and diligence.

We are indebted to Bournes for handling everything so well. I cannot imagine how they might have improved their service. Finding companies who are so thoroughly reliable is not easy.

We moved from a 5 bed house to a 6 bed house and I was dreading the removals but Bournes were incredible. They honestly couldn't have been better. Very smiley and so helpful. They did the move over 4 days with a weekend in between. No breakages. No cabinet keys lost etc. Emptied our entire loft in no time at all - it was full! A really lovely team. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They were very good value for money - I got a few quotes and they were very competitive. So pleased I booked them.
