We purchased a new induction four burner cooktop from Bosch, PUE631BB2E. After paying for an electrician to install the cooktop, we discovered that only two of the four burners could be used at once, even with 2 phase installation. If you put three on the cooktop starts clicking and the power surges up and down. We contacted Bosch immediately while the electrician was there. They promptly set-up a service call but the service technician called us to say this was the way this cooktop worked and that they had received many complaints about it but that he could not fix it and would need to charge us if he came for a visit. We could now pay for the electrician to deinstall it and then again for a second installation but Bosch takes no responsibility.

I hope to be able to update this review with a better response from Bosch but for now 2 stars is a bit generous.

I tried to order a couple of basic spare parts for a Bosch angle grinder. Started on bosch.se, ended up I think on boschpowertools.com. Placed an order on May 8th, received a confirmation. No further information of any kind - no tracking link, no estimation of delivery, nothing. Contacted them by email after 10 days to enquire about order status. Received a tracking link, without any apology or explanation. Started checking the tracking link daily, the product was being shipped from Germany to Sweden, was 'in transit' with TNT for 12 days until suddenly on May 30th, the status is listed as 'Returned to sender as agreed'. I have no idea with whose agreement this was done, as I have heard nothing from either Bosch or TNT. Additionally, in TNT's tracking record they make a claim that on May 11 they attempted to deliver the product but 'Receiver not home. We've left them a message and we're waiting for them to get in contact with us.' Which is a lie from start to finish as I worked from home that day, and have received no communication of any kind from TNT.

I have plenty of Bosch equipment and am simply going to order from local distributors etc. in the future because this must be one of the worst purchasing experiences I could imagine. Ordering direct from the manufacturer should be the most reliable way to get the thing you need but in the case of Bosch, it was a big mistake.
