Shocking. On my THIRD oven replacement in less than two years . Customer service slow, and takes forever as you are passed around from person to person.

We bought a washing machine and a Series 8 tumble dryer from Bosch four months ago. The tumble dryer has now been out of action for three weeks.
The problems started with a repeated E30 error, followed by a cracked door. We contacted Bosch Home Appliance Service and were initially given a repair appointment just a few days later, which seemed reasonable. However, the very next day, that appointment was pushed back by a little over two weeks.
Then, on the day of the rescheduled appointment, we received another message and email saying it had been delayed again by a further eight days. That new date falls during a period when we are away, which means the repair now has to be postponed by yet another two weeks.
When we called Bosch to try to get this sorted, we were told the latest delay was because the assigned engineer was off sick, and that this automatically pushed us to the back of the queue again. We were also told there was essentially nothing they could do about it.
This is simply not acceptable for a premium appliance that is only four months old. We are now left with an expensive tumble dryer that does not work, while Bosch fails to provide a timely repair.
To make matters worse, the compensation offered was appliance cleaning products, which felt completely inadequate and out of touch given the situation. That does nothing to address the repeated delays, the inconvenience, or the fact that Bosch is not fulfilling its repair obligations.
We have now raised a formal complaint and asked the retailer we bought the appliance from to replace the item instead, as Bosch has failed to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe.
Very disappointing experience from a brand we expected much better from.

Have been trying to email their customer services for weeks now. You never get a reply, shoddy won’t buy this brand ever again.

So following my previous review Bosch asked me for my contact details so that they could help me. I provided them straight away. That was over a week ago. The silence has been deafening…

Update! Nice touch from Claire at Bosch apparently requesting info to reach out! They haven’t!
Just taken delivery of new Bosch washing machine model Series 4 WAN28259GB. The delivery team form lovely JL kindly connected the water inlet and drainage hoses as they were uplifting another brand of faulty machine and delivering this as replacement. This machine is very wobbly. Reading through instruction manual I see the rubber feet need to be loosened using a particular WAF17 wrench. It’s not included. It’s like the type my ex had in his bicycle repair kit. Flat cutout metal tool.I have an adjustable wrench but it’s too fat to reach under to make adjustment. My spirit level at the ready…. Contacted Bosch CS. They cannot supply the spanner… however I found it on line. A £2.95 thing soul purpose levelling the feet on a £500 machine that I’ll have to pay £10 (postage charge more than the tool) for and am currently waiting to test and use the machine. Poor poor show from Bosch. It was suggested I pay for fitting the machine. As explained this was a replacement. It’s not rocket science to remove transit bolts, stick a hose down the waste water pipe and screw on the water inlet hose when plumbing in utility area in place. However it is it seems rocket science to level the machine which cannot be tested or used until that’s done. Never buying nor recommending Bosch again. A company is only as good as its customer service and satisfaction.

In February I bought a series 4 washing machine to replace my old one. I’ve had Bosch for a very long time. Within weeks I had to call the engineer out to replace the seal round the door as it would appear an item of washing had been trapped between the door and the drum-how? It started leaking but it was pointed out to me that the water was dripping from the dispenser. Why? I thought it was a 1400 spin. Seems on only certain models. Not mine, only on a certain wash. I probably have this for life now. If only I could turn back time….

I have been a fan of Bosch for many years, and I have recently ordered new kitchen appliances all Bosch, but yesterday's experience has shattered my confidence in the brand and I wish I could cancel my orders.
We have a washer dryer, in warranty, that would not power on. I booked an engineer via warranty support and he arrived exactly when I asked for... but then the service nosedived.
The Engineer arrived and said his system did not have my call as a warranty call, he was expecting to invoice me. After a swift check of the machine he said that the drum was worn out, but the machine would not turn on because of some water that had been spilt on the lid of machine. Its true there is staining that would indicate that at some time an eggcup full of water had been on the lid. It was all dried up, and dusty and had been there months.
He then said that the lids are not water tight and that the water had dropped onto fuse board and shorted it out. So it was all our fault and to fix the machine we would have to pay 40% more than a new one!
I have plenty of photos that prove that the water did not penetrate the lid... but Bosch don't care.
I was promised a huge discount on a new machine as some compensation (it was in warranty after all)... that huge discount turned out to be less than ANY retailer in the UK is offering. And to cap it off I was told that I am lucky as I wan't going to be charged for the Warranty call out.
All in all, Warranty is scam and Bosch seem to be determined NOT to honour it. The engineer even advised buying 3rd party insurance if I really want cover.
Very, very poor experience with Bosch customer service.
Purchased an expensive oven for our kitchen 4 years ago. The fan failed in warranty and was replaced. It then failed again outside warranty and the oven was also causing our electric to trip.
We have had a further 3 engineer visits to repair the oven on a chargeable basis, spending circa £350 for the privilege. We still do not have a working oven and have been left without an oven for over 6 weeks.
Despite explaining on several occasions that our daughter lives with us and has significant health needs, Bosch were not interested. I was told my only option was to keep having the engineer back out to try and resolve the issue again and again!!!
I have finally had enough and given up with them. They have refunded the cost of the parts fitted (that did not fix the problem) and advised me it was as a goodwill gesture - !!! They have refused to refund the call out fee hiding behind their t&c's.
In my experience they have absolutely no regard for their customers. I am now £120 out of pocket, without an oven for over for over 6 weeks and am now having to buy a new oven.
I was offered £50 back from the call out fee if I agreed to buy a replacement Bosch product - absolutely not an option for me.
I will never buy Bosch again and have advised friends and family to steer clear too.
Appauling disregard for their customers and they show no sign of being concerned that their product has failed 4 times in 4 years!
I have purchased a replacement oven with a 5 year warranty so that manufacturer hopefully has more faith in their product than Bosch does.

I ordered a Bosch 4 slot toaster on 10 February and was initially told delivery would be between 27 February and 29 March. That was bad enough, but then the delivery date was moved to 27th March. For 3 weeks that was the date, then last week the delivery date changed to Sunday 29 March. When I didn't receive the item today, I checked my Amazon account to find out what the holdup was. They said the item had been ordered and "might be" delivered by 13 May - 3 months after I first ordered the toaster and made the payment. This is totally unacceptable and quite frankly insulting!! I have cancelled the order and have asked for an immediate refund. Bosch - in this instance your customer service is non-existent. I own two other Bosch appliances but this experience has made me very wary of having anything to do with Bosch ever again.
Have a built in oven. Engineers called out 7 times in 10 months as it is faulty. Apparently this is a common problem with the model I have. They have finally agreed to replace it but with the same model, which is currently not in stock, and has a defect anyway. The warranty on the new one, when it arrives, will be for a year. Not satisfactory at all, whatever the reason.
All engineers have been great but the customer service people have not. I won’t be buying Bosch again, ever.
Very disappointing.

I bought a Bosch unlimited Serie 6 cordless vacuum cleaner, by far the worst vacuum I have ever owned. Only 1 attachment which falls off each time I use it. Doesn’t suck up easily have to go over certain areas before dirt is collected. When putting vacuum away when cleaning is finished it deposits the supposedly previously sucked up dirt onto the floor. I empty the dirt storage container after every use and clean vacuum head once a week. I also find assembling and disassembling quite difficult as I have arthritis in my hands.
Stay clear not a purchase I would ever make again.

I had a bosch series 4 washing machine. It broke after less than 14 months. I am single so not overly used.
The engineer almost immediately blamed it on environmental factors. He was in my house at 7am and left 15 minutes later, he only looked underneath the machine, nothing else. I knew straight away I was being fobbed off. For 6 weeks I was given the run around. I requested time and time again for a written full report with proof. Never recieved. Eventually the retailer refunded the money I'd paid and collected the machine. I'd still lost money because of the extended warranty bought. Apparently it is quite common to blame environmental factors. So beware and do not be fobbed off. Bosch it seems is no longer a company who provides good quality reliable products and service

Fridge Freezer installed beginning of February
Doesn't work
Bosch engineer booked, but Bosch ALWAYS use a minimum 7/10 day lead time
Engineer comes, can't fix it, says needs 2 engineers
Re-books with 7/10 day lead time
Day of install Bosch call, lead engineer called in with family emergency
Bosch re-book with, you guessed it, 7/10 day lead time
Engineers come, after an hour and replace parts get power on and declare it now works! Engineers leave.
After a couple of hours I check and fridge doesn't work at all and freezer is only acting like a fridge!
Call Bosch and... 7/10 day lead time
Bosch engineer arrives, checks and says unfixable and Bosch agree to replace
But... the company they use to pick up and replace have... 7/10 day lead time
SwiftGo arrive with new fridge/freezer - It's damaged
3 days later they still haven't told Bosch
Bosch chase them and get the evidence of the damage only after I called to chase
Bosch agree to replace, but... 7/10 day lead time
We are now 7 weeks from the beginning of dealing with this awful company who's idea of customer service is to dangle you at the end of a 7/10 day noose
We still don't have a replacement yet and as for my request for compensation! Ha! Ha! Ha!
UPDATE: The saga continues. After being promised by Bosch Customer Liaison a call back today, what a surprise they never called me back and after I phoned, they confirmed there was no note on the call history of that promise!
They also say the replacement won’t be picked up by SwiftGo next Tuesday and only after then at least 2 working days to organise delivery.
That’ll be 9 weeks of failure and I still don’t have a working fridge freezer
Apparently, the reason for the 7/10 day engineer lead times is due to the remoteness of where I live… South London
Well we did eventually get a working fridge freezer delivered and fitted expertly.
The whole process did feel like you were waiting for Godot to arrive
Under counter Fridge split after 6 weeks in front of salad drawer. Bosch engineer came out 2 months ago and after numerous phone calls to them, they now advise the faulty fridge is my fault and they refuse to accept liability, despite the fridge being under warranty.
I was advised to set fridge to 4% but it freezes everything, I placed a thermometer in the fridge which reveals temperature set at 4 is 0%. Fridge settings also go up in increments of 2, setting at 6 is not cold enough.
Salad drawer is very small and is also difficult to get in and out.
Fridge makes really loud cracking noises and as I live in a small bungalow, I now have to wear ear plugs otherwise I am repeatedly woken up by the noise.

I was gifted a Bosch kettle for Christmas by my sister. What ensued was some of the worst customer experience I've ever been subject to. The kettle was wobbly on the base, so I contacted Bosch customer service over Whatsapp. They told me they couldn't diagnose this over whatsapp / video, and that it had to be sent in for inspection. I sent it in as instructed, doing a bunch of admin with Royal mail / labels etc. Bosch them emailed to say the appliance was unrepairable and would be replaced. Kettle no2 arrives, exactly the same issue. No one bothered to QC the kettle, merely shoving the responsibility onto the customer to deal with it. I managed this time to get in touch with technical support who somehow did manage to diagnose this issue remotely this time (why not the 1st time, one wonders). They confirmed the 2nd kettle was also faulty. They agreed to have a 3rd kettle sent to their HQ so they could inspect it before it got to me. Guess what, kettle no3 was also faulty. So I asked for a refund. I eventually get an email from Bosch customer liaison on a Thursday, a truly bizarre email. They told me I would be sent a refund link on the next Tuesday, and that if I didn't receive it, I should chase up another team. WHAT? You're asking a customer to chase up an internal team if they don't do their jobs? I don't even know where to start with that. Guess what, the link didn't arrive. I chased up the accounting team on Wednesday as instructed. Radio silence. I chase up customer liaison on Thursday. Radio silence. I go back to the technical team on the Monday who inform me that, those teams don't work on weekends, so I should have a response today (Monday). What about Wednesday, Thursday and Friday? Do they work those days? Guess what, its now Tuesday, and no one has bothered to get in touch with me regarding my refund.
These people don't seem to understand that without customers, there would be no Bosch. We buy their products, the money goes to their wages. I don't know how these people go home in the evenings thinking they've done a great job. Now I have to get my sister to raise a dispute with her card company. Great job, Bosch.
Update: @Clare - I have not been talking to your customer liaison department. They are the ones that emailed me 13 days ago asking me to chase another Bosch department, and have ignored my follow-up to them. Your response doesn't resolve anything and I frankly find it unprofessional.

I thought Bosch windscreen wipers were the gold standard and usually buy them, but no more.
A new wiper snapped off my windscreen in December, snapping on the part that holds it on to the car so it was fit for bin. I bought a Bosch replacement assuming it was a one off but then 6 weeks later: exactly the same again, snapping off in the rain leaving me stranded.
I got pushed from pillar to post finding the correct part of Bosch to complain to and ultimately found it should be Robert Bosch and was given their email address. I've now emailed them 6 times in two months and having had two automated responses to the first two emails I've heard nothing at all since. Terrible customer service.
I got about 2 months use out of £40 worth of their windscreen wipers so I would like some recompense but they can't be bothered to answer my emails.
I've had some issues with my dishwasher and washing machine too in recent times. I'll be moving away from Bosch products from now on starting with their weak windscreen wipers.
Do not buy the bosch series 6 integrated dishwasher unless you want to give all your money to the energy and water supply companies. The cutlery drawer at the top means no dinner plates or glasses will ever fit. Took the drawer out and placed a cutlery basket in the bottom rack for more space, but it still takes two or three cycles to get things clean. Just awful don't waste your money.

I needed an Angle Grinder to remove a lock from an outbuilding in an emergency so i ordered one from my local tool supplier: I paid £89 for it including blades : I have lots of bosch tools with batteries and chargers , and they are all compatible, I asked the guy if they angle grinder was he said he thought it was but it was clear on the box . I bought the product tried my battery it didn’t fit , i was desperate so went back to the shop and had to buy a charger and battery at a cost of £219
the Kicker apart from everything else’s was it had to be delivered to me , so much for urgency, i ordered it on the Thursday , and it’s still not arrived on the Sunday, I should have called a locksmith and saved myself a shed load of money
Why do Bosch not make all there batteries compatible it’s cost me over £300 for something I will hardly use
Bosch you aren’t as great as you think you are
I received the Bosch Series 4 WTH85223GB as a replacement through a Domestic & General warranty, and unfortunately the performance has been consistently poor. Drying times are extremely long, loads often remain damp even on the appropriate settings, and the machine regularly ends cycles early despite items still being wet. Towels in particular never seem to dry fully in a single cycle.
The start‑up noise is also unusually loud compared to other appliances I’ve owned, and this has been the case since day one. I’ve followed all recommended maintenance steps, including cleaning filters and checking the sensors, but the performance hasn’t improved.
Based on my experience, this Series 4 model hasn’t met expectations, and I would not recommend purchasing this specific dryer.

Wish I could give 0 star! My oven literally exploded..glass everywhere. This happened on Sunday. Every day from Monday to Friday I have been on hold with Bosch for over an hour and PROMISED a manager the next morning. Not one call. I have these guarantees in email and recorded calls. I have sent nearly 10 emails following up and no response to any. I have now lodged with Fair Trading. So disappointing after such an incident.
