An amazing charity that helps and…

An amazing charity that helps and supports Animals, I honestly dont understand the negative feedback having myself been a member since 2007.
I've also adopted Elsa pride for 2 years now and received a cuddley lion, certificate with monthly updates.
They are an outstanding organisation and virginia mckenna does an amazing job as do all the born free team, they deserve more praise.

Born Free is a SCAM

Born Free is a SCAM. I have been in Wildlife conservation for over fifty years.
Many of these organizations are here for one thing. To make money for themselves.

DO NOT PURCHASE OR DONATE to this organization.

Absolute shit show.

Absolute shit show. The adoption ‘pack’ I purchased for my partner, arrived in a box, delivered by yodel. The ‘documents’ were just dumped in the box, no nice envelope or special packaging. Absolute crap.

Witnessed questionable honesty and catty cyberbullying from Partnerships Officer Liv Evans inside a vegan groupchat. Definitely appears that staff of this charity care more about feelings of power through mobbing, money and internet fame rather than genuine progress.

Happy to take your money but not return emails.

I gave a one year tiger adoption to my husband as a gift, and aside from the information we received via email when signing up, we received no further communication from Born Free. You have no account to sign into on their website so there is no where to track your account or cancel your subscription. Despite me emailing them multiple times due to money being taken after the one year term had ended, I received no response. This included trying to connect with them on LinkedIn. I finally had to cancel my credit card, per my banks suggestion, just to stop the payments. They may well be legitimately working with wildlife - but their adoption processes are dodgy as.

I do however HIGHLY recommend the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Their communication is exceptional, with monthly updates, you can log in on their website and see your account and get updates on the animal that you sponsor, you can follow their work on Instagram and they email each year to ask if you want to continue your support. The work they are doing with elephants and other wildlife is exceptional. :)

Never got the pack

I adopted an animal each for my niece and nephew for their birthdays. They never got the soft toy, updates etc but I still got debited every month for 18 months.

Nice idea but recommend supporting a more reliable charity.

Outstanding.

This Company is Honestly Incredible. The work that they do for the endangered animals is unreal! The Born Free foundation has the animals at the heart of everything that they do. They offer adoption packs from £3per month for 12 months or one off payments and they send you a booklet regarding the animal you have adopted along with a cuddly version. They use the funds they get for the animals, unlike other companies & they have an online shop where you can buy merchandise. Amazing honestly! The Work they do is inspiring and you can use the adoption pack as an amazing gift! My 12 months is coming to an end in April & i will be adopting again.
