The customer service in Boesner…

The customer service in Boesner couldn´t be worst. I bought a plastic bag, whose price was hidden. When I got home and checked the bill, I realized the plastic bag cost 26 Euros (FOR A PLASTIC BAG). It was Christmas and I couldn´t go back inmediately to return it. When I finally went there, they told me they have a policy of only 15 days return. I was 3 days late. They offer me a "gutschein" but they found a tiny speck on the bag, and they decided that I had use the bag. Thus, they couldn´t take it back. The manager insisted it was the rules of the store, no exceptions. I have bought my art supplies in Boesner for 19 years, but now I´m done with them. The manager was UNCAPABLE of thinking by herself. Flexibility and independent thinking to evaluate particular cases is not a quality at Boesner. Their rules seem written on granite. The argument was ridiculous, but worst it is to charge 26 Euros for a PLASTIC BAG. I have realized that this art store is not for artists but rich people who do crafts. I recommend to buy your supplies at Malstoff in Warschauer Str. 20, 10243 Berlin. They are polite, helpful and they seem to be capable of thinking out of the box.

So far

So far - my favorite art store. The store in Prenzlauer Berg is always neatly organised + friendly staff.

Art Material for everyone, in every price range

As always, it really depends which employee you will meet at your shopping trip when you at one of their many locations across europe, so you can not really judge that part, but you can judge what they got on their shelf´s, it is just overwhelming at first, and you really have to bring some time to discover all the Art products, colors, canvas, brushes, you name it and they have a lot to offer.
About their price´s, well of course art material is not cheap, so it is more in the middle and upper level area, but they store all the big brands, so you will rarely miss something, they even got a Super Sculpey generic product from Faber wich is very close to the original.
I shop there at least 2-3 times a month´s mostly in the Munchwillen store or the Zurich location, booth are very good, and offer free parking space for their customer´s which is a big plus if you know the traffic situation in Swiss.

I can recommend Boesner for sure.

Poor website poor service

When I order what is described as a roll of canvas I expect a roll now a unmanigably large badly folded load of canvas that you have to fully unwrap the full 10 metres to use it . Also obsessed with charging for delivery even on large orders

Disaster, horrible

Apart of their lie, they was deliver the order from border with Luxembourg to Luxembourg city (30 min drive) almost 2 weeks.
Was order for over 500 euros plus 35 eur delivery extra.
With no tracking number and compliance that shipping company can't reach me, that is address incorrect, they must charge me for shipping again for retry delivery.
Finally at 1 moment nobody knew where is the order.
