Blue diamond garden centre Cardiff
I love going to Blue diamond garden centre Cardiff the staff are always cheerful and polite and willing to help,it is always full of beautiful unusual things ideal for people who have everything I can always find something for a birthday or Christmas present. The plants are always in tiptop condition and I struggle to come away without buying something new for the garden.
The restaurant has plenty to choose from and I’ve always managed to get a table even at their busiest time.

Great advise
Visited the Derby garden centre at Little Eaton. After visiting several other garden centres looking for an olive tree. We spoke to Pascal, his advice and guidance was great. We purchased an olive tree and a climbing plant that he recommended for the location we described.

I visited Trentham garden estate on…
I visited Trentham garden estate on Monday.
I had a lovely time there,as always. The garden centre is brilliant, good healthy plants, a good selection, some special offers on autumn bedding plants. I got a medium to large lovely planter £14 buy one get one free 👌🏻with the blue diamond card.
Some nice cloths on the main center.
Some new shops.
All in all a good experience.
Always my ho to place
Plenty of cafes as well 👌🏻

I've shopped at Chenies Garden Centre, Rickmansworth for many years and the staff have always been very helpful and pleasant. There is such a wide range of plants & products and, bonus, they also stock RHS products.

Fish and chips
Visited Orchard park garden centre in Gillingham and orders fish and chips from the restaurant menu. The restaurant was busy so I expected a wait. When the meal arrived it looked really nice and well presented on the plate, however I was very soon disappointed as soon as I tried to eat the batter on the fish was so hard that it couldn’t be cut into and I ended up raking the fish out of the batter. Unfortunately I was pushed for time and couldn’t send it back and complain about it being un eatable.

No toilet facilities among other things!
Visited Holt today which is a relatively new acquisition by Blue Diamond. Totally disappointed. More than half of the indoor showroom was closed and empty as a lot of revamping is being done but the real horror was the toilets. Only 2 male cubicles and the disabled cubicle were available for use. No female facilities whatsoever!!!! This was due to the remote flushing being broken in the closed cubicles apparently. Did they all break together? Is it legal to run a garden centre with no female facilities? Very disappointed all round.

The toilet facilities form part of these wider refurbishment works, and during this transition period, we have had to make temporary arrangements, including sharing the available facilities.

My wife and I visited the Endsleigh…
My wife and I visited the Endsleigh garden centre and as usual the staff were excellent and the shopping was amazing (great choices and options) BUT getting out of there once we’d paid is a nightmare. The reason being On my wife that the pavement at the exit is extremely uneven with a camber that causes trolleys to pull towards the road (especially when heavily loaded as mine was). As a blue badge holder I rely on my wife to push the trolley but it still takes 2 adults “fighting “ the slope and uneven surface to get to our car. 9/10 times we are forced to push the trolley on the road into oncoming cars. Could something please be done about this situation? Especially considering the number of elderly and disabled people who visit there.

Visit quite regular. Often have lunch as the food is delicious and a lot of variety to choose from. The staff are always happy and they are incredibly helpful. The plants & flowers are very good and last all summer.

2nd visit for something to eat at…
2nd visit for something to eat at little eaton. After a nice meal the 1st time was expecting a good lunch.
Ordered chicken,ham & leek pie with mash, peas and gravy. Now at £16 you expect something good. The issues start immedietely with paying for your meal as soon as you order.
No condiment of any description on the table instead you get given the tiny paper packets on request.
Now to the food- mash was lumpy and very salty, peas (very small portion) were hard. The pie looked good but cutting it open apart from the nice chunks of chicken it was sloppy and mushy inside. Finally the gravy, was so weak just like pouring water on your meal and turned the pie base soggy.
Needless to say after that we wont be returning again.

The best fish and chips…
Today I had the best fish and chips I’ve ever tasted. The fish was beautiful. The batter was crisp and lovely and the chips were absolutely spot-on not forgetting the mushy peas. They were great as well.
The service and attention from the staff was 2nd to none. I have no hesitation in recommending this Restaurant.
