My wife is a wheelchair user she can not walk or stand at all. After probably 8 years of successful cruising with Royal Caribbean, using their adapted cabins we have been unable to secure the same accommodation next year or into 2028. Blue Bay travel are aware of these issues and despite many attempts they were unable to secure suitable accommodation for us. They didn't give up however and worked tirelessly to find an alternative cruise line that can accommodate our needs. Great job wouldn't dream of using anyone else. The personal service is exceptionally good and I highly recommend this company.

A very simple online booking process. Quick, and with relevant information clearly set out.

We booked our family holiday through Blue Bay Travel after being assured that Royalton Antigua was a 5-star luxury resort. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different, and we feel let down by a travel company we trusted to provide accurate information and recommendations.

During our stay from 28 May to 8 June, we experienced numerous issues that simply do not align with any reasonable expectation of a 5-star holiday. These included rude and dismissive staff, frequent food and drink shortages, restaurant reservations that disappeared from the system, poor maintenance throughout the resort, dirty pool areas, and Diamond Club upgrades that offered very little value despite the additional cost.

Hygiene was a particular concern. We encountered cockroaches in accommodation and shower areas, facilities that were not properly cleaned, and several spa and hydrotherapy features that were out of service. Around the resort there were visible maintenance issues, including damaged areas around the swim-up bar.

The most alarming incident occurred when my three-year-old nephew picked up dog faeces from the pool area with his bare hands. There also appeared to be an ongoing issue with dog fouling on the beach. This is not what anyone expects when booking a luxury family holiday.

Perhaps most disappointing was learning that many other guests were experiencing exactly the same problems, suggesting these were not isolated incidents but ongoing issues.

While our butler, Dwayne, provided excellent service and did everything he could to help, one outstanding staff member cannot compensate for the overall standard of the resort.

The biggest issue is that Blue Bay Travel continues to market and sell this property as a 5-star luxury destination. Had the resort been described more accurately, we would never have booked it. Travel companies have a responsibility to ensure the holidays they promote match the experience customers can reasonably expect.

Based on our experience, we feel misled by the way this holiday was represented and would urge prospective customers to conduct extensive independent research before relying on Blue Bay Travel’s ratings and recommendations.

He was very knowledgable with prompt responses to all my requests as it was a complex holiday to South America. Without doubt the best travel operator I have dealt with and there have been many .
