Crushed, half dead baskets that came in battered packaging

I ordered two 14" hanging baskets on 27 March and started chasing delivery on 28 May. They were not delivered until 10 June in two battered, out of shape, fragile cardboard boxes, only one with an arrow indicating right side up. The fully mature plants were crushed, tangled and half dead supported only by bits of newspaper. I telephoned immediately and was promised by Alison that she would deliver replacement baskets by road. On 27 June, the replacement baskets were yet again delivered by carrier van in the same manner. The plants inside this time were only marginally better than the first ones. Flattened and half-dead I did my best to water them and bring them up to speed but they never fully recovered, the large blooms were destroyed. They lasted a few weeks before becoming 'stringy' and wispy. Two strawberry plant baskets from another online gardening company, ordered at the same time, arrived at the beginning of May in pristine condition, not fully mature so not open to damage, packed well and even now are in great condition. I will never order from Blooming Baskets again - my baskets did not 'bloom'.
