Customer orientation is a disaster

Customer orientation is a disaster, the products would be very good. But you also have to accept that you are no longer part of the target group (e.g. see Smart Phones, Apps, (Internet-, End-to-End- ....) Security ...).

Black Berry has not understood how to do sustainable marketing, because the decision-makers that Black Berry let down with the smart phones are also decision-makers. They decide in companies, for example, whether Black Berry should be used or not.

Sorry Black Berry, it went badly.

Worst ever experience, they are unethical, unprofessional and impractical

One of the worst experience, whether it is quality of product or the services offered.
They sold me shoes worth 5000 bucks and condition of one show is fine and other one has come up with cracks within 2 hours.
They don't even have sense to at least talk to customer even after writing a lot of mails. without understanding the problem they are simply denying that we cannot replace your product. Only reason that 30 days have passed from purchase even though product has not been used.

Highly disappointed from Blackberry as a brand, sorry would rephrase "not better than roadside vendors"

I would make sure that i do not buy even a single product from this company ever and neither would let anyone in my knowledge buy it.

Worst ever experience, they are unethical, unprofessional and impractical people running this company.

Stop deliberately creating waste

In January this year, you claimed your devices would 'no longer operate' when you ended services including your app store. However, BlackBerry phones running BBOS still function very well.

On the other hand, you bricked your BB10 phones and PlayBook tablets through this and worked with US carriers to blacklist your BBOS phones, which would otherwise work as they still do in other countries.

Your devices were the first popular smartphones but, due to misinforming customers, are now mostly electronic waste. How does this make you feel?

My first BlackBerry phone was in 2016

My first BlackBerry phone was in 2016, a second-hand online model, then I brought a brand-new BB Classic, which looked great from sure.com. However, over the years less and less apps worked as technology and software were updated and the phone became a bad and costly investment.

I brought my last BB Phone, the Key2 Lte online and this again was well overpriced, but as many of us globally like using the keypads, rather than touch screen, I didn't see much of a choice.

When the news came out online about BB Phone no longer working due to end of production/software updates, etc. I was concerned I would have to buy another phone from another brand, but as my handset is run by 'android', it still works fine, and I have not experienced any issues so far. But I wouldn't ever buy another BB Phone!

Also, if you go onto the BlackBerry website (if they actually still have one), they do not reply to messages, as I sent some in the past regarding product support and advice and never received a reply, so their customer service is non-existent, extremely poor, seeing as many of us pay a lot for their products and are loyal!

Blackberry has got to be the WORST…

Blackberry has got to be the WORST company ever to deal with. They now own Cylance, and as a long time Cylance home user I can't renew because they have change their model of selling to end users, and you can only buy from Amazon.com to US only users; sad that a Canadian company wont sell to their Canadian customers!!! When I jumped through all their hoops (no phone support, email only) their answer was "that is the only channel currently available..." is the IQ required to work at Blackberry 70? Is a qualification not being able to read or critically think? Horrible company; shame on you Cylance to selling out for the money to this pathetic service provider.

NOT worth the money sadly!

As far as the BlackBerry phone is concerned, I am satisfied with it. I currently have a Key2lte which works just fine, although well over priced at £400. I have previously owned the Classic and Text models. Sadly as too many apps stopped working on them, I had to replace them and this is my main complaint with BlackBerry as a mobile phone. Customer service isn't helpful, as you have to pay for certain services, as they are directed more at businesses than individual customers (hence why maybe they have gone down hill in sales), but also when you do find an email or postal address online, nobody bothers to reply!

I'm done

I'm done. I'm overseas and my BlackBerry which I've stuck with since 2003 is failing miserably. I have a US and Overseas version of an Android device. Both are issues. BlackBerry used to be so good. Now they are AWFUL. I called my wife tonight and asked her to order two Apples. I'm done. What a way to treat loyal customers. They need to go away!

Best customer service ever

I was surprised by the level of customer support I have received. There was an issue with my blackberry functionality, which resulted by my own fault. I have contacted customer support on BB website for an advice. I have received immediate phone call from customer service. This guy spend half an hour on phone explaining and leading me step by step to solve the issue. And it was solved. Customer support was way above my expectations. And phones are good - still using it.

Always liked their phones and never had an issue with them - but thats because their tech support team support them - However if you need just a little help on something like Blackberry Playbook then you are completely stuffed - as they no longer support it. They could have answered all my DM's in Twitter but they just ignored all of my requests - Is that how you run a company ???? Well thats how they run theirs - Apalling !!

Complaints have been filed recently again with Tribunal, BBB, Ombudsman,
and our Premier has been contacted.

Nelligan O’Brien Payne LLP has commenced a class action against BlackBerry
Limited (“BlackBerry”) on behalf of a group of BlackBerry’s employees
working in Ontario and across Canada.
BlackBerry arranged to transfer over 300 employees across Canada to a
business partner. Only after employees accepted employment with the
business partner, BlackBerry informed the employees that they had resigned
their employment. Blackberry provided resignation letters for the employees
to sign and dictated their last date of employment. Blackberry stated that
the transfer is not a sale of business, meaning the employees will lose all
of their years of service.

BlackBerry’s actions amount to a termination of the employees’ employment.
This entitles these employees to statutory, common law, and/or contractual
entitlements on termination. BlackBerry has stated that it will not pay
BlackBerry employees any of these entitlements, despite the fact that
employees lose all of their years of service.

BlackBerry has breached its duties of good faith and honesty, and has
knowingly misled the employees. BlackBerry structured this transaction in
such a way as to avoid paying these employees their statutory entitlements.

Took a BlackBerry Keyone on contract and what a load of rubbish

Took a BlackBerry Keyone on contract. The handset is slow, freezes and drops calls constantly.

Sent it back to the repair centre who ran a diagnostics test and a repair. When I received it back there was absolutely no difference to it.
Contacted BlackBerry again. After going back and forth with emails for over 2 weeks, asking me to take screen shot and down load diagnostics apps myself they want it back again.

I requested a new handset as it was less than 6 months old when I first reported it, but I see no resolution to this.

You have to question the quality of the product when my carrier no longer stocks BlackBerry products. I was told by a sales assistant in a phone shop they are not fit for purpose..

Stay clear and pay that little extra for quality built products.

using BlackBerry phones for 10 years

Using BlackBerry phones for about 10 years. Right now, I own Priv which is my 6ht or 7th smartphone from RIM.

A little disappointed that camera used to be better on 990 and Q10. And honestly, the BB OS used to be so cool back in the day.

Otherwise, they are still my favourite brand. You can't beat the physical keyboard.
