Smooth trading, excellent customer support
I use to send erc20 ETH to my wallet even it is not supported, I wrote to support and deposit were added in few hours. Also, very low fees (e. g. ~100 sats/withdrawal in Lightning network)

I recommend Bitfinex platform because if i have any problem or question every time support help me.

I have not lived a worse experience with any fin-tech company ever before. Their customer service acts with the lowest of client servicing standards.

Bad experience after first day when I'm send money from binance almost instan received when you transfer from Bitfinex to different exchange you have to wait 24h until than can happen so many bad thinks you can loses all your money or a big procentaje and there so many other bad thinks to say but I'm.not waisting my time for me it was enough I'm waiting to get my money and I don't want to deal with this kind of exchange they will use your money to make profits than they will release your money and from 10 exchange this is the works KYC verification they asking so many information I'm concerned what they do with my data.

If it wasn't about the 0 Fee Solana withdrawal I would not use it at all! It is a stupid Exchange!

Must say after reading all the reviews about issues with withdrawals, I got worried as I'd already transferred all of my ETH. To put my mind at ease, I withdrew 5 ETH (33%) of my deposit just now and it was almost instant with no blocks or holds and with only the lowest basic verification level. Phew! Can't account for other experiences, but I'm new to Bitfinex and it's been a pleasant experience so far and will continue to use them. I need to be able to move crypto freely and easily as I'm always moving my ETH around depending on wherever I can get the best rate, any delays for me would be unacceptable. I can understand why people would not want to hand over all of their personal info, and you shouldn't need to as the lowest level of verification should allow you to deposit/withdraw crypto freely. Stablecoins require more verification. Bitfinex are one of the largest platforms hence why I joined in the first place, so doesn't make sense if they are deliberately preventing withdrawals and making people's lives a misery.

A shady outfit of absolute thieves. More than happy to receive your funds and equally happy to ransom them for ever more ridiculous amounts of personal information.

They will demand more and more of said information, up to and including your full EMPLOYMENT DETAILS. Not only will they possess your funds, but also the means to steal your identity. I have not as yet been granted access to my hard-earned funds, not even to retrieve them and move to a less shady outfit.

Shameful. Avoid. Tell everyone you know to avoid them. Tell your pets and the birds in the sky to avoid SCAMfinex's embezzlement and ransom scheme.

In suspect of FRAUD

My BSV worth of 22k deposit to Bitfinex is not showing for 4 days in a row now.

The market value of BSV has dropped 25% since then. However, I still don't have any access to my deposit. There is still no sign of warning about the delay. Their BSV broken deposit system is broken. Bitfinex is terrible at handling the issue. Please avoid at all costs. They are fraudulent.

We deposited fiat (10k USD) as a test deposit for our corporate account into their US based bank account. After weeks of chasing we are yet to see our money. Let's see how this plays out......

Worst customer and compliance support ever
This company provides by far the worst customer support and KYC verification experience.

First, during the verification process, they ask you to upload your I.D. twice and wait for them to contact you if you do not have a driver's license or passport. Nobody contacts you. You open a ticket, stating that you have never been contacted, and you will receive a response that the compliance team will get back to you shortly, but they never actually do.

Finally, after a lot of one-way emails, stating your preferred time for the Skype meeting, you finally get a response on Skype.

They ask for your preferred time once again, which, for me, was today at 11.00. But they keep ignoring your messages (and you can see that your messages have been seen by the team on Skype).

I tried to be patient and friendly during all this time. To reiterate, the worst customer support and compliance team that I have ever witnessed so far. It has been weeks.

I submitted a ticket with an inquiry, and I kid you not, I received the answer in about 1min. I was wondering if it was an automated message, maybe it was a canned message, but either way, it answered my inquiry 100%. Other inquiries I had in the past, were answered in 24-36 hours. I have 0 complaints thus far. Was active a while back, then not for a couple of years, now I'm back. All good since before.

Bitfinex is one of the best platforms if not the best cryptocurrency trading platform there is. They are quite professional and asfter using this platform for 4 years it is the most reliable and customer friendly exchange I've ever used. Customer serice is always quick to response and their empathetic view point makes them always assist you beyond satisfactory expectations and if their are unable to ractify your mistake, they give you the relevant information to make sure you don't make the same mistake again. Not to mention the interface has such smooth functionality and just a pleasure to use. Thank you Bitfinex!

Bitfinex is refusing to release funds that I deposited on their exchange 7 years ago because I am not able to provide proof of source of funds. How can I provide information about a transaction that happened 7 years ago? Stay away!

I had an install problem with the honey framework on my Mac and they helped me very quickly with an solution and with other informations. Now i can trade or backtests my own strategies thanks to the nice support. Important is that the Support came with an Solution on an Friday at 5 pm (german time) and this is why the support is realy excellent.

Earlier this year, I had no issues with bitfinex. But now they are holding on my deposits and I can't withdraw my crypto. I have to find another exchange more reliable.

The trading platform is good, but when it time for you to withdraw your funds, then that's where the big problem is. Don't use this company, your money is not safe here.
