Extremely slow and unresponsive

Extremely slow, not proactive, never pick up the phone or reply to emails. It was really really hard to work with them on a commercial property purchase. I paid over £3k for them basically passing information to me. didn't help with any due diligence or provide any advice, I had to insist that the commercial property I was buying needed a FRA and for the vendor to get it done and fix issues. In then end they were so unresponsive, I have to get the vendor's contact to liase directly to get the purchase moving. Never using them again

I appointed Bonnalack and Bishop on conveyancing and probate

I appointed Bonnalack and Bishop 3 years ago in the sale of my house and on this occasion the probate for my late mother. The communication was first class I cannot fault the team especially Tessa Emilia and Lewis. As soon as I had a query it was dealt with immediately. Many thanks to all the team.

Patchy Client Service

As a family with property interests, we used B&B Solicitors in the Salisbury office twice. The first experience involved instructing B&B to extend a lease [share of freehold]. The young solicitor on that occasion was impressive and we fed this back to the firm. It gave us the confidence to use the same office again. This time it was for the sale of my elderly parents' home so they could buy another property more suited to their limited mobility. On this occasion, Africa Morante was allocated to the transaction. It all seemed to go OK until approx. 16 months later when an error on the Land Registry Title Register was noted [purely by chance as a result of an entirely unrelated application]. When I raised this on behalf of my parents it was intimated my elderly disabled parents ought to have picked up the error. The error was fixed fairly quickly but only after my pressing the urgency of rectification to the Title Register given it impacted that other unrelated application on behalf of my parents. Chris Tate who considered my complaint was defensive & in absence of any explicit instructions by my parents, was unclear as to how the error arose. Nonetheless, B&B didn't accept fault. A small sum was offered in compensation for the stress/inconvenience caused. Needless to say, we were willing to be loyal clients but after this experience will be going elsewhere for our next property transaction.

Recently renewed leases for 6…

Recently renewed leases for 6 individual owners on 6 apartments in one block. Two solicitors we tried before we found Bonallack and Bishop online (through good reviews!) seemed to think this was too complicated, or difficult - and wanted to charge us extortionate amounts. Bonallack and Bishop happily took on this work, and completed it in a timely manner, for a very reasonable fee to all of us concerned. At all times we were kept updated on developments, and even after the work was complete they have been happy to supply duplicate information, and answer the odd query. Special thanks to Greta Whittaker and Scarlett Allen who answer their emails speedily, with knowledge and professionalism. All in all it's been a pleasure to deal with this company and I would recommend them to anyone.

True Professionals at Work.

I cannot rate Bonallack & Bishop Solicitors highly enough.

I spoke with three solicitors about their experience of lease extensions and William was the only one who seemed to know what he was talking about.

I chose Bonallack to handle a lease extension for me and I'm so pleased that I did.

True professionals from start to finish. Kim was so calm in every telephone conversation I had with her. She is very experienced in her field and is an asset to the firm.

I cannot thank you all enough for handling the matter with expert knowledge and style.

Family Law Divorce and Financial Settlement

I started my process with the free 30 min consultation with their Paralegal Liam. I instructed him to act on my behalf and throughout he was honest, prompt in responding and managed to get my complex divorce and financial settlement completed. A very professional service and they have excellent knowledge when dealing with the complexities of an Armed Forces pension as well as offering a 10% discount to service personnel. The fees were manageable and expected as he was always open and upfront with the estimates fees and costs. Highly recommended solicitors. Thank you.

Extremely Professional

This company managed the conveyancing for a Park Home we were buying in Kent. It is hard to find companies who live up to their customer service promises these day but my experience is that this company does just that. Really excellent, service, very speedy response to enquires, attention to detail was incredible, I can't recommend this company enough. Jennifer Conn dealt with our case, what a professional, efficient, clear and great communication skills. Brian Howe Kent
