I stayed at Best Western on Shoney Ave. in Columbus, MS. There was no maid service the 3 days we stayed. To get clean towels you had to bring the used towels to the front desk. Then they gave you mo... See more

Had a Christmas venue here a week ago
Had a Christmas venue here a week ago , had an amazing time , the ladies that organised this venue Lisa Sally Maddy and Emily done an amazing job they thought of everything even name cards on the table with what we had all ordered for the meal which was a great help as some of us hadn’t remembered …. The food was delicious, my only complaint which would put me off booking this venue for next year would be the the disco the music was so cheesy not what you want to be dancing to for a Christmas bash , came here 3 years ago and it wasn’t great then either , so please best western get a better DJ , very comfy stay and breakfast was out of this world 👍👍👍👍
Best Western Plus…Enjoyed our visit!
We stayed at the Best Western Plus Media Center Inn & Suites in Burbank, CA., for two nights. The rooms were nice and the hotel provided a full breakfast each morning. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. There are restaurants nearby and the staff gave us their recommendations on where to eat. We visited Universal Studios and took Lyft for the 2.5 mile trip. The hotel also has underground parking. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Stowmarket Cedars Best Western
Stowmarket; Expecting hot cooked breakfast we were informed this is not possible at all. Expecting central heating, this was not on, the entire two November days. Black mould was on the wall behind the bedside cabinet. The carpet in the corridor was dirty to the point of being discoloured.....What is good is the towels, nice and fluffy and thick, the cleanliness of the room - reasonable, and the staff - tried to be helpful, but nobody took the trouble to inform us about the hot food problems before we arrived or kept us informed about the heating during our stay .
Outside the building there was unsightly litter from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. We did sleep well however, beds were comfortable and warm, and we accepted the proffered bottle of cheap fizzy wine to compensate, but it did not I am afraid.
Management of Rewards Points Sucks
Liked: Best Western Plus motels rooms and breakfast
Disliked: Best Western Rewards Program management. It is difficult to check status and rewards points totals are not given.
I realize they have MBA's and possibly PhD's trying to minimize the points. I cannot see when points expire, or my total points. I just had a good experience with IHG Group (Hilton) rewards program and will favor them in the future. Staybridge Suites and Hotels.com is earning my business. I recently got 2 free nights! I quit using Marriott because they seemed to have closed most restaurants and rewards points policies are too one-sided.
This has got to be the worst hotel ever…
This has got to be the worst hotel ever on the planet. Service is terrible and though the initial advertised rate appears to be very competitive, it is not because they absolutely kill you with the price of everything else. Would you believe that they charge £16.00 per night for parking, right through to £2.50 for a small bottle of water which costs about £0.50 from your local supermarket - amazing. I got to my room only to find that there was no duvet, and the room was not clean. It's just been an awful experience. An absolute rip-off. Do yourselves a favour and don't this shambolic place.
The most terrible management ever
The most terrible management ever!
I had my worst experience in my life with them!
This place is the worst I’ve been in
This place is the worst I’ve been in. They charged me for smoking and I don’t smoke. There are other people that had the same thing done to them. Looking threw the reviews further than I look when I set this room up there was two people charged for smoking in there room and they had heart problems and took them to court. The people won the lawsuit. Do not stay here they will find a way to screw you over.
As for me I’m fighting it
Exposed electrical cables by swimming pool
Best western Encinitas CA… absolute hell hole.
Exposed electrical cables close to swimming pool.
Pictures of hotel are taken many years ago, hotel has since been run down and does not match pictures and descriptions on their website.
I did not feel safe staying here so I found an alternative hotel.
Upon requesting a refund… Best western HQ said only the hotel can provide a refund (not HQ) and they told me that the hotel manager said They won’t be providing a refund, stating no refunds within 24hrs of arrival.
I said this was point was null and void. I cannot be expected to arrive at the hotel more than 24hrs in advance to check if the hotel is safe to stay at, and the photos matched the actual condition of the hotel… that is ridiculous.
Still no refund offered. I will never ever stay at a best western again. Awful company, awful experience.
This is a company that will take your money and run. Do not trust them!

I am totally disappointed in this. Avoid place !!!
Their system got date wrong, refused to correct or refund.
Created a reservation for a hotel for Oct 22. Submitted the order and received a confirmation for Oct 5 (the current day). Called both booking-agent (Expedia) and the Hotel (Best Western) IMMEDIATELY to correct the issue, neither were willing to do anything, and both refused to fix the obvious error on the date, or refund.
This hotel is adjacent to the university my daughter is taking classes at. In order to scam us out of 1 day's rent, they are foregoing all the weeks/months we would have stayed in the future. Congratulations.

TWO (Owego and Chesapeake Bay) Best Westerns in one weekend…
Did some college visits this weekend so we stayed at two Best Westerns - Oswego, NY and Chesapeake Bay North, MD - the experiences were very different but yielded the same score.
The BW in Owego was totally outdated, dingy and just all around low end BUT the staff was awesome and friendly, the sheets were super clean and nice, and the coffee was pretty decent. The BW Chesapeake Bay was definitely upgraded and more modern but there were annoying things about this hotel. In the room, the pillows were like little hard squares, the bedspread was rough, and the lamp by the bed must not have been plugged in, which was a problem for a light source as well as a charger next to the bed; nearest outlet was across the room. The shower was a little moldy (not sure granite is a good choice for shower walls, but…), the curtain didn’t hold the water in, the towels were not the freshest, and if you are going to spackle a wall, maybe paint it afterwards. Breakfast at both hotels were very basic; the BW Chesapeake Bay had clementines and English muffins, but was basically in the lobby. The coffee at CB was literally water- undrinkable - and the milk ran out of the machine by 7am, which means it wasn’t freshly filled that day. The staff at the front desk didn’t seem to want to be bothered with any of it, and instructed us to use the half empty room temperature milk for cereal for the coffee.
All in all, I would NOT stay at BW Owego again unless they upgraded a lot (but again, great staff and good coffee!), and I would stay at Chesapeake Bay if I HAD to but it would NOT be my first choice…and I would go out to get coffee, for sure. Not overly impressed with the Best Western Brand overall and although some of them offer large updated rooms, it seems like you never know what you’re going to get with this two star, inconsistent chain of hotels.
We stayed at bw in west palm beach…
We stayed at bw in west palm beach Florida because we had to evacuate because hurricane Ian. We had to take our fur baby. Everytime I've had to evacuate they have always been nice to waive pet fee but not this hotel. They charged me $50 and taxes on top of that. First time ever had to pay during an emergency situation. U can do better best western. Won't use them again !! Talked to manager William Murray and he didn't seem to care he just wanted to make his money. Charging a refundable deposit is understandable but BW you can do better. My home got flooded and the extra $50 would of come in handy. Oooo and we didn't have a coffee maker in our room. Couldn't take a shower one night cause no hot water.
Stayed at BW in albuquerque twice
Stayed at BW in albuquerque twice. Both times greeted by Celeste. Very professional and friendly. All hotels should have a Celeste working for them. will stay there again on pan american frwy. THANKS!!
A good stay
The pool, sauna and hot tub were worth a 5-star. Really great. The hotel room was nice although the only bad thing was the black dirt that came from the jets in the bath tub. The breakfast was decent for being a "free" breakfast.
Monopoly
So turns out these guys can double your rate in the middle of your stay simply off of the fact that they can squeeze more money out of the military. Don’t sign up for the rewards program because after 65 days of staying the stated there was no rewards because it wasn’t a “qualifying rate” IT WAS MORE
Murphy, NC Best Western Bed Bugs and Rude Staff!!!!!!
The hotel, Best Western Murphy North Carolina, had bed bugs and when reported to staff the guy at night was rude and dismissive basically calling me liar. Like I was making it up. Almost like he couldn't be bothered. Never stay there again.
Sewage bubbling
Sewage bubbling up the tub and sink. Foul sewage smell. Manager very rude and disrespectful. Nicole Brown no offer to make things right.
