In December 2025 I used BestChange to find an exchanger and selected Prime_EX based on their 4.9 out of 5 rating on this platform. I sent nearly $20,000 in USDT. The funds were received by the exchanger and confirmed on the blockchain. The exchange was never completed and the money was never returned.

I reported the fraud to BestChange immediately, with full documentation — transaction hash, chat screenshots, everything. For the next three and a half months, the fraudulent exchanger continued to operate on BestChange with its 4.9 rating while I received generic "we're looking into it" replies. In March 2026, the exchanger disappeared from the platform without any explanation. BestChange has not responded to my formal legal notice.

A 4.9 rating on BestChange apparently means nothing. The platform takes no real responsibility for the exchangers it lists, does not act swiftly when fraud is reported with evidence, and offers victims no actual path to resolution. I trusted this rating. I lost $20,000 because of it.

If you are planning to use BestChange to find an exchanger for a significant amount, please understand that the rating system does not protect you and that the platform will not go to bat for you if something goes wrong.

BestChange has responded to this review claiming they have no record of my complaint. This is false. My complaint was assigned Request №21646 by their own system in December 2025. I have complete email correspondence with timestamps and content, which I am prepared to submit to Trustpilot upon request.BestChange claims Prime_EX was never removed from their platform. Their own response confirms Prime_EX "is not currently transmitting exchange rates." An exchanger that received $20,000 and never completed the exchange — still listed, still rated — is a danger to every user of this platform.BestChange has submitted a request to Trustpilot to remove this review. UPDATE 2 — April 4, 2026:
BestChange has updated their response. I note three things:
First, Prime_EX has now been removed from active listing. This action was taken only after I published documentation publicly across multiple platforms — not after my original complaint in December 2025, which included full evidence and was assigned Request №21646 in their own system.
Second, BestChange states in their own response that an AML-related delay "is not an unconditional basis for holding funds for several months." I agree. My funds have been held for over four months with no resolution.
Third, BestChange has committed to contacting me by email once they receive a response from the service administration.
The funds have not been returned. This review will be updated when the situation is resolved — or when it becomes clear that it will not be.

UPDATE 3 — May 4, 2026:

Five months. Funds not returned.

In the reply above, BestChange stated that "such cases should be
resolved within a reasonable timeframe." Five months is not reasonable.

My exchange issue has been ongoing since 06/02/2026 and still not resolved. I used BestChange expecting at least some active moderation when a listed exchanger delays an exchange, changes conditions, and stops communicating. Instead, BestChange support has been silent for days.

On 06/02/2026 I created two exchange requests (USDT/SOL and USDT/BTC). Both requests were confirmed by the exchanger PayMarket, but nothing was processed for more than 24 hours. There was no warning about technical issues or any inability to complete the exchange.

On 07/02/2026 the rates changed significantly and PayMarket refused to complete the swaps at the originally confirmed terms. They only offered a USDT refund. At the same time, those pairs remained listed on BestChange, which is misleading. If I had known the exchange would not be completed, I would have used another exchanger.

After I posted a complaint, PayMarket suddenly claimed my funds failed AML checks, then demanded KYC, changing the narrative multiple times. I provided all requested information and documents to support, including proof that my funds came from a low-risk wallet (I can provide detailed reports), but I still received no meaningful help from BestChange.

Yes, there was a single public comment from a BestChange admin asking the exchanger to respond, but that did not resolve anything. The exchange remains uncompleted, deadlines were ignored, and nobody from BestChange has been answering for several days.

Be very careful and cautious when working with this exchange service! Firstly, the published exchange rate does not correspond to the actual rate; they charge an additional 3.9% on top of the rate indicated on the website. Then they charge 500 AED for delivery, which you cannot refuse or pick up yourself. Once you have placed your order and realised you have made a mistake, cancellation will not be possible; they will want to charge you 10% to cancel, even 1 minute after you have sent them the money. Then the most interesting part begins. I exchanged USDT for 127,000 AED in Dubai. Before paying for the request, I asked how long it would take to receive my money, and they replied 2-6 hours, but maybe faster. After the request was paid for, they just started playing games with me, telling me to wait, wait a little longer, then wrote that the courier was already on his way, but after 6 hours of waiting, no one contacted me. About an hour passed, and after my numerous messages, the courier finally contacted me. I went downstairs to meet him and counted the money in the lobby. The bundles were deliberately made up of banknotes of different denominations from 1000 to 50 AED, with all denominations mixed together. The bundles did not contain even amounts; the courier added several notes to make up even amounts during the counting process. This was all done deliberately to confuse the customer in a hurry, although I agree that there was no need to rush and count several times. As a result, after I returned to the office and recounted the money, I found that 1,500 AED was missing. I counted the money several more times, but 1,500 AED was still missing. I wrote to customer support, who promised to resolve my issue. SimpleSwap froze my swap of $4K months ago for an AML excuse cause I used the address to gamble on Stake & trade meme coins.
