BERKLEY ERGONOMICS UNETHICAL, BAD BUSINESS
BERKLEY ERGONOMICS is the manufacturer/supplier and the retailer in Canada is The Mattress & Sleep Company by whom I was lured into buying a $5,150.00 mattress because they advertised their mattresses as natural. In addition, they extend 10 years non-prorated warranty but neither the manufacturer nor the retailer in Canada honors it.
I weigh 100 lbs. but within 8 months having this mattress, I complain to the owner Daniel Buchfink, about substantial sagging in the mattress causing me backache. I was given the responsibility to fix the problem with their useless remedies but I followed their advice without success, the mattress badly sags. From 2022 to 2025 I continued to call the company to no avail. I was deceived, brushed-off, lied to and manipulated making excuses not to honor 10 years non-prorated warranty.
On October 18, 2025 I visited the store prepared with photos, showing the sagging. But, to my dismay the reception I got was as before; a brush-off, ignoring my concern, being manipulated and deceived both by the manufacturer false advertising on the internet and by The Mattress & Sleep Company 10 years non-prorated warranty without accountability.
Consumers rights are; the right to safety, the right to choose, the right to be treated fairly and ethically
